Murree · PK
Kashmir Point
Kashmir Point sits at roughly 7,500 feet above sea level, making it the highest publicly accessible vantage point in the Murree area. From this perch on Viewforth Road, the town's commercial bustle falls away below you and the land opens into layered ridgelines stretching toward the hills of Kashmir. The name tells you where to look — east and southeast, past the pines, toward the Jhelum valley and the Azad Kashmir ranges that form the backdrop on a clear day. If Mall Road is Murree's loud, shopfront personality, Kashmir Point is its quieter twin. Locals and visitors treat it less as a checklist item and more as a place to reset — to drink tea, walk slowly, and let the altitude remind you why this town became a hill retreat in the first place. It is one of the easiest scenic stops in Pakistan's most popular hill station, and one of the most rewarding when the weather cooperates.
