Mount Çığrı
Mount Çığrı (Çığrı Dağı) is a 529-metre granite peak rising above the Ezine district of Çanakkale Province in northwestern Turkey. The highest point in its immediate region, it is best known as the dramatic setting for the ancient Aeolian city of Neandria, whose remarkably preserved stone walls and temple ruins crown its summit. The mountain's combination of archaeological significance, panoramic views over the Troad plain, and Mediterranean hillside ecology makes it a rewarding destination for hikers and history enthusiasts alike. Its relative remoteness means visitors often find the summit virtually empty.
