Koudyat Bou Traraart
Koudyat Bou Traraart is a modest mountain peak rising to 1,052 metres (3,451 feet) in El Hajeb Province, on the eastern edge of Morocco's Fès-Meknès region. It belongs to the first great swell of the Middle Atlas range, where the flat Saïss plain begins its gradual climb toward cedar-covered highlands. The peak itself is largely unmarked on visitor maps and has no formal trailhead or facilities, but the surrounding foothill landscape — a mosaic of Holm oak woodland, small agricultural settlements, and open ridgelines — is part of one of Morocco's least-visited trekking zones. The nearest town of any size is Agourai, about 8 kilometres to the west, where a historic kasbah still dominates the skyline above a market farming community.
