BIBI PARC
When you think about where families go for a proper day out in Ouagadougou, Bibi Parc stands out as the city's go-to amusement park. Set in the Zone d'Activités Diverses on the northern edge of town, it turns an otherwise ordinary weekend into a colourful afternoon of spinning rides, video game battles, bumper car chaos, and inflatable bounce houses — all tucked into a green, fenced compound where kids can run loose and parents can actually sit down. The park is deliberately built around all age groups. Toddlers get a mini carousel and a fairy-themed soft play zone; children aged three to twelve can try jumping cars, a trampoline, or the small train; and older kids and teenagers head straight for the racing track with bumper cars, the VR egg pod, or a PlayStation 5 session while their parents supervise from an arcade table nearby. The whole place runs on a simple ticket system: entry costs around 500 CFA francs, and each ride or game uses additional tickets, making it easy to budget a few thousand francs for an afternoon of activity.
