Kazickų rezidencija
Tucked away on Šv. Jono gatvė, deep in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, the Kazickas Residence (Kazickų rezidencija) is one of the city's most quietly grand historic addresses. The restored palace sits on the grounds of the long-vanished Radziwiłł (Radvila) magnates' residence, right beside the soaring St. John's Church and a short walk from Vilnius University, Pilies Street and the hilltop castles of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. This is not a museum with turnstiles but a private family home turned elegant event venue, and its story reads like a romance. Lithuanian-American businessman and economist Dr. Juozas Petro Kazickas bought the building in 1999 and spent years restoring it in the spirit of a 19th-century Lithuanian aristocrat's palace — as a gift to his wife Aleksandra for their 60th wedding anniversary.
