Pantai Tanjung Binuangeun

Binuangeun Tanjung Beach sits on the southern coast of Lebak Regency in Banten, Indonesia, where a rocky headland meets open Indian Ocean swells. Known locally as Pantai Tanjung Binuangeun, this stretch of shore in Desa Muara, Kecamatan Wanasalam, is part of the larger Binuangeun beach area that serves as both a working fishing port and a growing leisure destination. The headland's coral formations break the biggest waves, creating calmer inlets where families can wade while farther out the swell rolls in powerfully—a duality that defines the beach's character. What sets this corner of Banten's coastline apart is its authenticity. Unlike the resort-heavy beaches of Anyer or Tanjung Lesung, Binuangeun remains a living maritime community where the daily fish auction, boat repair on the sand, and women processing catches into dried fish are the real attractions. A 6–7-hour drive from Jakarta along winding roads leads to a shore fringed with coconut palms, green hills, and—on clear days—the silhouette of distant Tinjil Island on the horizon.
