Museo "Guaraní"
Tucked in a green pocket of Barrio Perichon, the Guaraní Museum — officially called the Centro de Imaginería Guaraní — is a one-of-a-kind cultural space in Corrientes where ceramic murals, sculptures, and the owner's passionate storytelling bring Guaraní mythology, history, and cosmogony vividly to life. Created by Mauro Santamaría — a Correntino artist, writer, and playwright who spent two decades in Buenos Aires before returning home — the museum distills the region's indigenous roots into a compact but deeply immersive visit that families, school groups, and curious travelers consistently rate five stars.
