Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 8 nights and we were left extremely disappointed. The location was good and the apartment is nice and spacious but needs a lot of maintenance and better cleanliness. The floors were extremely dirty and so were kitchen and bathroom door cabinets. The bathroom basin was blocked. Ceiling fan not working properly in the main bedroom. Cupboard draws were broken. Dishwasher not working properly. I have advised Seascape and unfortunately no reply. I do recommend The Pullman as a resort as we’ve been there before and the rooms were ok, but not through Seascape.

Great accommodation I could live here. Loads of gorgeous outdoor space. Great air con. Kitchen well stocked. Washer, dryer was a bonus . Lovely pools. Really beautiful location . Parking was tight but do able.

Door was locked on arrival after 2pm had to wait 30 mins for someone to come unlock the door. Mould on ceiling, no switch to adjust the fan, no lock on back door but was advised “most people in port Douglas don’t even lock their houses”. I placed the pool towels in the box near the pool that said for used towels and the company complained that I needed new towels. Very rude and do not recommend.

The comment that "most people in Port Douglas don't even lock their houses" was made in a friendly and light-hearted attempt to reassure you that the area is generally very safe. It was certainly not intended to dismiss your concerns. Regarding the pool towels, you booked an apartment that does not have onsite management. This is clearly stated during the booking process and in our pre-arrival correspondence. All housekeeping, linen requests and maintenance issues are handled through our office, not through the resort. After placing the pool towels in the used towel collection, you contacted us from the edge of the pool and demanded replacement towels be brought to you immediately. Despite the fact that we do not have staff stationed onsite, we recalled our head housekeeper from another property, sent her to collect replacement towels from our linen supplier, and personally delivered fresh towels to you within approximately 30 minutes. Rather than acknowledging the effort made to assist you, you have chosen to portray this as poor service. In reality, we responded to your request as quickly as possible and went well beyond what most offsite-managed accommodation providers would have done. You have also omitted from your review that you stayed beyond the dates you had actually booked. Rather than insisting on your immediate departure, we rearranged other reservations and accommodated the additional night to avoid disrupting your holiday. Interestingly, this review has been left under a name that does not match any guest name on the reservation. While guests are free to post reviews as they choose, we believe transparency is important when publicly criticising small businesses and the people who work hard to support them. We work hard to provide honest service and practical solutions when issues arise. In this case, we responded promptly to every concern raised during your stay, delivered replacement towels within 30 minutes, accommodated an unintended overstay, and made every effort to ensure you enjoyed your holiday. We stayed 8 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment that strongly smelt of mould upon arrival. We had a private pool that isn't actually private, above apartments balcony is directly above over looking the pool. Pool was very mouldy, black mould stains everywhere. Furniture was very dirty. Don't bother getting take away from the restaurant only received half of one if the meals but paid full price. My daughters friend pulled the blinds up in the bathroom only to have a piece fall off onto her head. We had private parking that is clearly marked for our apartment but on our last day the guest staying above us decided to park in our spot so we had to park in front our designated garage only blocking them in not stopping any other traffic from passing by. After 3 or 4 hrs I noticed someone letting themselves into our apartment. Some lady from the resort took upon herself to just walk into our apartment to ask us to move the with attitude. Not once did anyone try to ring us. We were outside in the courtyard with our phone in hand so definitely didn't miss a call, they never even tried. Very unprofessional. Unless there is an emergency this should NEVER happen. For 2,500 there are much nicer places to stay. Very unimpressed

Apartments are in a good location and that is about it. We had to get up 3 flights of stairs with luggage, furniture old and worn and the couch was very uncomfortable to sit on at night as all padding is worn down. Air conditioning leaked, spa jets didn't work, carpet upstairs wet and moldy and then the manager accused us of putting a hole in the wall which is a bit of plaster that has come off from a previous patch up job which has now failed due to moisture in the air from broken air conditioning. Sent us pictures and said they are just going to charge our card $170 after we left. I wiped everything, left no rubbish. I am a travel agent and have stayed in 4 or 5 places around town and come up each year and have never been treated so badly, or accused of something we never did, especially for a old patchy job that has failed and then tried to get us to give them more money from their run down place. At 5 past 10 the manager ran up the stairs to make sure we were all out of the apartment as we were coming down with our luggage. Really!! I had to wash glasses and plates on arrival, the toilet rolls hangers are falling off, the shower floor was black and the furniture is just awful and needs to go in the bin. Management not friendly or helpful. Yes, nothing good, really. This review is for Driftwood Mantaray and seascape management.

We loved our apartment at the Sea Temple Port Douglas booked through Seascape Holidays. We had a 2 bedroom with rooftop area. Lovely tropical outlook, nice and quiet, everything we needed, plenty of space and about 1/3 of the price compared with booking through the resort.

We stayed at a seascape apartment in the villa San Michelle resort. Apparently they have 4 apartments there, so check in was confusing. Room was big, nice balcony and a good bed. Rest of apartment was tired and sofa's a little thread bare.

Regarding your comment about check-in being confusing—we do send full instructions prior to arrival, including driveway and parking directions, a detailed diagram showing the apartment's location, and access codes. We haven’t received feedback before that this has been unclear, but we’ll certainly revisit the materials to ensure they remain as clear and helpful as possible.
