One of the best hotels of our few week journey. We flew in after a long flight and trip to hotel was greeted with friendly faces and smiles, complimentary wine and cheese tasting and escort to our room with luggage delivered already. Room itself was simple yet clean, big enough for 4 of us comfortably. Treats and turndown service was a nice touch. Breakfast was great, ample to fuel your entire day. We had our tour cancelled morning of departure and the front desk was so nice, they called tour operator for me, held our luggage the entire day as we changed our group plans, and were gracious enough to even help load our luggage into our campervan and gave us even more tastings in the lobby which was definitely not expected but very much appreciated for tired travelers with a toddler. I wish I had gotten the front desk staff names but the 2 women in particular went above and above for just a one night stay and really put us in a great mindset for our weeks journey through the South Island. Oh and the front desk is now at the bottom of the hill at the lake which is very nice. Only complaint was the gentleman on night one basically yelled at my 4 year old for loving the grape selection and going to get a couple extras and was told if he needs a proper meal to go to the restaurant. A bit dramatic for 6 grapes given we had just traveled all day. Not a huge deal but he may need a crash course in speaking to children and patrons as the others who were assisting with the tastings and chocolates were happy to provide basically as much as you wanted. Also wish the pool and amenities were completed but still in a state of construction (although you won’t be bothered by any noise). All in all would book here again without hesitation as my complaints are only minor in comparison to the customer service they provided overall given our situation.

I've never been inclined to review a hotel, but QT Queenstown exceeded all my expectations. The location, with views of lake and mountains, was spectacular. The hotel decor was super cool, with so much attention to detail. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was fantastic (especially loved the DIY fresh juices). I loved the bar overlooking the lake, with comfy couches, cocktails and light meals available (and friendly staff).|I really appreciated the extra touches - like the tasting counter at reception (again, with very friendly staff), and the little "gifts" that came with the evening turn-down service.|Even though the hotel was undergoing some refurbishments and wasn't all accessible, I have never enjoyed a hotel stay so much. It's certainly not cheap, but worth the splurge.

Amazing hotel! We stayed here for our honeymoon & received such a warm welcome & surprise gift on arrival. The staff are all so friendly & honestly, the hospitality we encountered was consistent across all staff members - which is very rare to come across! I especially loved the surprise little gifts in the evenings, the tasty treats in the lobby & the optional shuttle into town (though it is a short flat walk!). Thank you QT for helping make our honeymoon so exceptional!

What an amazing hotel! Exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The staff were amazing and so helpful which is what really stood out. The room was fantastic with such a great view. The shuttle bus service was super handy and our overall stay was excellent. We will be back and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family.

I was staying with my daughter here. Its close to the city centre just a few minutes of walk. Hotel itself was very beautiful. They had tit bits morning, evening and night at the entrance for their patrons to enjoy. Loved the view of the lake outside our window. Housekeeping was extremely thoughtful. They also sent us complementary milk and chocolate to make our hot chocolate at night. Loved it!

Our stay at QT Queenstown was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel so special with a wonderful room upgrade that completely elevated our trip. We especially loved all the thoughtful complimentary treats in the room every day — such a lovely touch that made us feel truly welcomed and pampered. The daily wines, bubbles, and whisky offerings the moment you enter the hotel were exceptional and added such a luxurious vibe to the entire experience. What stood out the most was how beautifully the staff celebrated our anniversary. Every little detail was handled with care, warmth, and genuine hospitality. The service was outstanding throughout our stay, and the atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant, stylish, and relaxing all at once. Thank you to the entire QT Queenstown team for making our trip so memorable. We can’t wait to come back again!

We had an amazing stay at QT Queenstown, and our experience was made exceptionally memorable thanks to Kiall (Kyle) and the wonderful team. Kiall went above and beyond during what was clearly a very busy weekend to help us resolve a misunderstanding with our room. From the moment we spoke with him, we felt genuinely cared for, reassured, and looked after throughout our stay. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel itself is immaculate, beautifully designed, and in a fantastic location, but what truly sets QT Queenstown apart is its outstanding staff and genuine hospitality. From the outset, QT Queenstown was amazing. From the warm welcome on arrival to the consistently friendly and attentive staff throughout our stay, everything made us feel genuinely looked after. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning styling and an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and relaxed at the same time. One of the standout touches was the complimentary snacks and drinks available in reception 24 hours a day. It seems simple, but it really adds to the experience and makes you feel welcome every time you come back to the hotel or head out for the day. The team always greeted us with a smile, creating a level of hospitality that is becoming harder to find. The Bazaar breakfast was fantastic each morning, with fresh, high-quality options catered to everyone. Plenty of variety and a really enjoyable way to start the day. The nightly turn-down service was another classy touch. Each evening there was something small and thoughtful waiting in the room, which added a personal feel and elevated the whole stay. It’s the attention to detail at QT that really sets it apart. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. A must-stay in Queenstown and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
