We loved our stay at Angelo D'Oro Hotel. The staff was amazing, it was clean and the location was fantastic. We were welcomed at the remote parking lot, with a ride and they carried all of our luggage up to our 4th floor room in the heat...with welcoming smiles and champagne! The staff helped anytime we needed it and had great sightseeing suggestions. The breakfast, coffee and 24 hour bar were all delightful! They go above and beyond on all of the amenities, especially breakfast. There was a giant buffet and also delicious made to order breakfast items. We stayed in the superior double room. When we first arrived it was extremely hot, but thankfully the air conditioner worked great and it cooled down overnight. The only complaint was the seagulls could be loud early morning. With the ocean view we had, it was easy to overlook.

This is a tremendously amazing hotel, deserving of more than 5 stars! It is located in old town and thereby close to amazing restaurants on the water and shops galore. The room was perfect, shower was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, complete with a menu for omelets, eggs and more. There was also a generous display of breakfast items imaginable, and the fresh-made coffee to order was excellent. But, most of all they had the most lovely staff....friendly, helpful and courteous. Another benefit worth mentioning is they offer a free shuttle in an electic car. Oh, and they also have a peaceful, lovely garden to enjoy with a drink and a book. This is all around THE best hotel we've stayed in.

Not often I do reviews of places we stay at. If I do it’s because the establishment offers something outstanding and unexpected! So what is that! EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE and croissants 🥐! From the moment we were dropped off at the old town entrance to our drop off we were treated like royalty! Zoran, Christian and the entire staff were all well mannered, polite, extremely humble and super friendly with everyone! What impressed us most was that all the staff pretty much bent over backwards to make sure you felt welcome, comfortable and ALL YOUR NEEDS were met! The other thing my wife noticed is the giant arms on Zoran and Christian! 😍 Theses two fellas had to haul heavy suitcases up and down stairs in the hotel for all their guests as there is no elevator in a hotel that was the home of a famous bishop and a designated UNESCO heritage site! I mentioned croissants 🥐! Holy moly! These were fantastic! Have to admit… we ended up swiping a few for snacks later in the day ! Delicious! Rooms were all very tasteful decorated and renovated! Gives you the feel of living in medieval times but with a modern twist! There’s also a beautifully decorated hidden garden and a 3rd floor balcony with an amazing view! I’m not posting pictures as this is the real surprise! 🥰 There’s more to say but will leave you in suspense! Let’s just say we will return as the facility is fantastic and location extremely convenient! You’re central to everything and easily within walking distance to key points of interest! If you’re contemplating Angelo D’Oro, just go! You won’t be disappointed!

It’s antique hotel type I guess so it’s smell musty. Location is in the heart of old town.

This was a great stay. Great communication, nice rooms, friendly staff, free parking and a wonderful breakfast. You can’t park right at the hotel because it’s in old town but they have a gated private parking area and they deliver you and your luggage to the hotel in a golf cart. They have a breakfast buffet but they will also make eggs to order.

An exceptional experience! The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic—both nourishing and thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, set in a wonderfully quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

Very disappointing stay — poor service, terrible soundproofing and water outage Unfortunately, our two-night stay was a very unpleasant experience. The female staff member at the front desk was consistently rude, impatient and unfriendly. Every time we interacted with her, she appeared irritated and made us feel as though we were bothering her. This happened repeatedly throughout our stay, rather than being a one-off incident. Her attitude was so uncomfortable that I genuinely felt we were being treated differently, and I was left wondering whether there was a racial element to the way we were treated. The hotel also has extremely poor soundproofing. We could clearly hear almost every footstep from the room above us, which made it very difficult to sleep and relax. On top of that, there was a water outage lasting around half a day during our stay. This was already a major inconvenience, but the lack of empathy and the visibly impatient attitude from the front desk made the situation even more frustrating. Overall, the combination of unfriendly customer service, extremely poor soundproofing and a prolonged water outage made this a very disappointing stay. I would expect much better service and basic facilities from a hotel.

WOW!WOW!WOW!! ABSOLUTELY LOVELY OLD WORLD CHARM IN A CONVERTED BISHOPS PALACE. STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE, OUTSTANDING STAFF, DELICIOUS BREAKFAST, and PERFECT LOCATION. what more could you POSSIBLY WANT!??? My only wish is we should have stayed longer. The secret garden is so relaxing. I LOVE that place!!!!
