Beautiful place but staff and owner were unfriendly. Be careful - if you do not book a dinner one day in advance,no chance to get something to eat even if you arrive late in the evening and you are starving and ask for anything simple like pasta pomodoro or al oglio.. If you would like to have late check out- no chance; If you want to stay at a swimming pool after check out time- no any chance It is really a shame... but fortunately there are many other agriturismos close to San Gimignano where the hosts have real italian hospitality.

My husband & I spent 4 wonderful nights luxuriating in our huge room with everything we could need. Breakfast was a spectacular assortment of pastries, fresh fruit, coffee made to order, eggs, yogurt…and it was a different spread every day. We felt very welcomed by the family & loved being far enough away from a road or city so we had complete serenity AND beauty. It’s located in a very central location so we made day trips to surrounding ancient hilltop villages.

We had an incredible stay at Il Casolare di Bucciano! The location is breathtaking — surrounded by stunning countryside views, just minutes from San Gimignano. The hosts were so friendly, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. We also had the opportunity to enjoy dinner on-site, and it was a highlight — a delicious, homemade countryside meal that was plentiful and full of local flavour. We would absolutely come back and strongly recommend this place in every possible way!

We were on vacation for 7 nights, the location is great for daily trips to nearby towns. San Gimignano is also a short walk away. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, the surroundings are beautiful, the pool is clean. The hotel also offers 4-course Tuscan tasting dinners, which we took advantage of - they were cooked by the lovely housewives and really excellent. The only problem is that we are not used to eating 4 courses from 8 to 10 pm and also drinking, for people who are used to having less dinner it is extreme and the stomach is full even after midnight... they could definitely consider including one, two courses... and earlier, so we were forced to go eat elsewhere where they cook earlier. Breakfast was tasty, but monotonous, the same selection all around, too little fruit... only melon... this did not suit us. But the overall experience and environment, if anything, we really liked it and we were satisfied. The access road is manageable even for weak and low cars, you just have to go slowly. And don't follow Google navigation, that road is impassable. Go as the hotel guides you.

A beautiful location with wonderful views looking back on San Gimignano. Really friendly staff who were very accommodating. Four course evening meal was a real taste of Tuscan cooking - our favourite was the Ribollita! Gorgeous local wines also at reasonable prices per glass/bottle. Continental-style breakfast was well worth it and lovely to be taken outside in the lovely sunshine. Pool was unheated but refreshingly so for the middle of the day Summer heat! We were probably the only ones mad enough to stay there without a car/bike but we made it work with some good research and pre-booking taxis! Even managed to catch the bus (only running twice per day) from bus stop just beyond the end of the drive.

The best part of our trip! We landed in Venice where we stayed 4 days. If I knew how much I’d love it here though, I would’ve loved to come here a day earlier. The entire place is spotless, with daily housekeeping.| You start the day, with an amazing spread of food for breakfast.|Hospitable, and wonderful owners always smiling and happy. who cook all the delicious homemade authentic Italian dishes and, make you feel like part of their family. |Dinner is served at 8 pm, which gives you times to do all the day trips you’d like to, and make it back for a nap, or swim before your delicious homemade 4 course dinner every night. |You see the farmer working is fields during the day, and in the evening he comes in with a big smile for dinner after his guests are fed. He dines with his family and staff, such a perfect family atmosphere, we loved seeing that.|Breathtaking views from our bedroom window of San Gimignano, and room our bathroom, you overlook the vineyards.. both breathtaking sights to see. I’m sad to be leaving here an a few days, but we have memories and so many photos that I will cherish, that were made right here in this little piece of heaven. |Thanks so much for having us, we🙏 to come back again! ❤️|Lila and Ken Sheridan

Great experience here overall! The property is very well maintained and offers an amazing view from their patio! They have a nice garden and pool area as well! They have a decent selection of wines to enjoy as well. Their dinner was fantastic and we were given great service throughout our meal. Breakfast was served buffet style and was quite tasty as well. The rooms were clean and spacious. Sound does tend to travel a bit between rooms, so be aware if you are a light sleeper. All of the staff were very kind and polite which made our stay even better. Highly recommend staying here if you find yourself staying in Tuscany.

Outdated rooms with hard beds and a cramped shower in the bathroom. Spiders, mosquitoes and bugs everywhere inside the room. Friendly staff, good food and beautiful views though. The location is perfect for a visit to San Gimignano too.
