Wonderful estate in Tuscany a few km away from San Gimignano. To start with the end conclusion; we can highly recommend il segreto di Pietrafitta. Diego and Pedro have gone above and beyond to restore this old farmhouse and surrounding estate in a picture perfect agriturismo. It is has about 15 rooms so it is nice and intimate. There is a large pool area with a sundeck and even more sunbeds under the olive trees in the garden. There is a bar service for drinks during day time. We had dinner each evening which was wonderful. Very friendly and professional staff, good food and not too expensive. I would highly recommend staying here for dinner as it is nice and quiet with stunning views, whereas nearby San Gimignano can seem a bit overrun with tourists. The rooms were comfortable and - very important - the airco kept things cool. It was very warm when we were here so a good functioning airco can’t be underestimated for a good night sleep. Thanks also to Omar, Rocco and Lara for their friendly and atrentive service. If I would make any comment, it would be replacing the single use plastic amenities for shower gel and shampoo with refillable dispencers and the plastic water bottles with glass to reduce plastic waste. Thanks guys for a wonderful 4 nights in your lovely place and we will be back !

We had a phenomenal stay! The staff—shoutout to Diego, Pedro, our amazing bartender, and the sweet lady at breakfast—were incredibly kind and professional. The hotel is impeccably clean and smells wonderful!!! The water pressure great in showers. Our room was serviced to perfection daily. Food-wise, you’re in for a treat; the breakfast and dinner options are plentiful, and the Chef is a master (the dinner was exquisite!). We loved the dinners outside, we really appreciated that the tables were arranged in different places each night so everyone could enjoy the views from different angles. We loved the cozy yet chic decor, the chlorine-free smell of the clean pool, and the great bar selection. They even offered to save our unfinished wine bottle for the next evening—a lovely touch. It truly felt like staying at a friend’s house. We loved it!

This is an unforgettable place. Think the tea trails ( Sri Lanka) but in Italy . It has a soul because Pedro and Diego who own the farmhouse and the staff who work here care. It is in a stunning setting and it has been restored with a respect for its history. The food is amazing. It is creative, delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The rooms are immaculate and the grounds are manicured but restful. Recommendations of places to visit are brilliant. Cannot praise it enough.

What a fantastic place to stay! Ja The location is truly breathtaking, with beautiful views across the Tuscan countryside. The estate itself is immaculately maintained and radiates tranquillity and quality. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and feature wonderfully comfortable beds. Perfect for a truly relaxing stay. The culinary experience is also exceptional: the food is simply superb, and the selection of wines complements it perfectly. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the owners are exceptionally warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the whole experience. Thoughtful details, such as fresh fruit being offered by the pool, make it all the more special. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return without hesitation!

The most beautiful location with impeccable service and attention to detail. We stayed for 4 nights and could have stayed for another week. The property is beautifully maintained and the Spring flowers were beautiful. We looked forward every evening to a delicious dinner on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Tuscan valley and San Gimignano in the distance. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a pristine and peaceful property and very close to a beautiful Tuscan village. Thank you to Pedro and Diego for their hospitality.

From the very moment we made our booking, we could already feel the warmth and hospitality. When we arrived, that feeling only grew stronger. Diego, Pedro, and the entire team welcome you with genuine smiles and make sure you have everything you could possibly need. Everything is perfectly organized, and you can clearly see that they, together with their amazing staff, have thought of every detail. The B&B itself is an absolute gem. The location is simply magical a place where you can truly relax and instantly feel at home. What started as a holiday turned into so much more. We made friends for life here and yes, we’ve already made plans to meet up again. That says it all. We were so impressed that we immediately booked a second stay and returned just two weeks later. That’s something we never do. Diego, Pedro, and the entire staff: from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything. You exceeded all our expectations and gave us memories that we will cherish forever. Now there’s only one thing left to do: set a date for our next visit. We can’t wait to come back!

We had the most incredible stay here, the hosts and staff were so kind and welcoming, the room was so clean and was ready when we arrived a little earlier. We were half board, and the menu each night was so delicious, followed by the breathtaking view of the Tuscan countryside. We really did not want to leave and will definitely be returning next time we are in Tuscany. Thank you for having us <3

Could not fault anything about our two night stay in this special place. A beautiful location, a charming room, lovely swimming pool and fantastic service. We ate there in the evening both nights and it was superb with a view out of this world. We will return.
