An absolute gem of a hotel! We had an incredible stay and the service truly exceeded all expectations. Perched in a breathtaking location, the property offers stunning, sweeping views surrounded by pure peace and tranquility. It is a true Tuscan experience in every sense. Every single member of the team, from the talented chefs and attentive waiters to everyone at the reception desk, delivered an exceptionally high level of hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Samuel, Ali, Angelica, and of course the manager, who ensured we were well taken care of every single day. As a vegan, I was especially touched by how thoughtfully they catered to my dietary needs, going above and beyond with delicious plant-based options at both breakfast and dinner. We also joined a wine-tasting session with Matteo, which was both fun and enriching, filled with fascinating insights. Exploring the picturesque surroundings on the hotel’s bicycles was another wonderful highlight of our trip. Everything was simply marvelous from start to finish. We can't wait to return!

This hotel was a nice reset in the middle of our busy Italy itinerary! We loved being able to escape the crowds, slow down, and cool off by the pool while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of San Gimignano. Our room was a little smaller than we expected, but it was comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. We did partake in the Cru wine tasting and it seemed as though the host was rushing through it and not super engaging. Overall the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even surprised my fiancé with a birthday drink, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, this was the perfect place to relax and recharge before continuing our travels through Italy!

it is very nice location. You can feel winery room positions are easy to get inside. Bathrooms are not so big. They are small and breakfast is not very good variety there is very LES selection. She is one or two star cheese and nothing to eat. We couldn't find it on breakfast actually Italy has great choice of breakfast even no fresh croissant so we couldn't be happy on breakfast but stuff are great. I like staff people.

Our stay at Mormoraia was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel like family. They took the time to introduce us to everyone, which created such a welcoming and personal atmosphere. The views are truly breathtaking—pictures don’t do them justice. Waking up each morning surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside was unforgettable. The location is perfect. They have convenient on-site parking, and it’s only about a 10-minute drive to the beautiful town of San Gimignano, making it easy to explore while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Service could be a little slow at the restaurant …, but they are so friendly and attentive that it more than made up for it. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, with plenty of fresh and delicious options to start the day. Mormoraia is truly a hidden gem in Tuscany. Between the stunning scenery, incredible hospitality, and overall experience, it’s a place we’ll never forget. We will definitely be back!

Mormoraia was, without question, the standout stay of our two-week trip around Italy. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The drive up to the property is absolutely breathtaking, setting the tone for what is a truly special place. We were warmly welcomed with a glass of wine while our passports were checked in, which was a lovely touch and immediately made us feel relaxed and valued. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The entire estate is immaculately maintained, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. The new pool bar is a fantastic addition. The setting is stunning, the drinks were excellent, and it was the perfect place to unwind while taking in the incredible Tuscan countryside. The food deserves a special mention. Every meal was exceptional, with fantastic quality and a great variety of dishes. We also loved the wines produced on the estate - they perfectly complemented the food. Enjoying a glass of Mormoraia wine while overlooking the vineyards is an experience we won’t forget. The location itself is simply spectacular, with panoramic views across the rolling Tuscan hills. It is peaceful and exactly what you hope for from a luxury stay in Tuscany. There are only a few minor areas where we felt there was room for improvement. The air conditioning could have been a little more powerful during the hotter days, there could be more storage space in the room for longer stays, and the lighting in the bathroom could be brighter. These are very minor points in what was otherwise an exceptional stay. Mormoraia was undoubtedly the best hotel of our two-week trip to Italy, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Tuscan escape.

Stayed in Tuscany with family for 3 nights and this place had the most spectacular views. Our truffle hunting expedition was fun, the food was very good, the service excellent. Breakfast each day was plentiful. If your planning to head to San Gimignano be sure yo schedule a taxi if your not driving.

We stayed in the Mimosa room at this beautiful agriturismo and had a genuinely lovely experience in almost every respect. The service was exceptional staff took our car and luggage without hesitation, the wine tasting was personal and attentive, the grounds are stunning, the pool is a treat (note not heated). we ended the evening with a relaxing sunset overlooking the vineyard. The food was excellent throughout. However, at €280 per night, the Mimosa room falls short of what you’d expect. It sits on the corner of the main entrance with very little privacy — curtains need to stay drawn the entire stay. There is also a camera with a direct sightline to the bed; we were not told it was inactive until we raised the concern at checkout. That disclosure should happen at check-in. Finally, despite having paid for table service, we were asked for an additional % tip at billing a small but awkward moment. The privacy issue alone, setting the camera aside entirely, would prevent us from giving five stars at this price point. A room adjustment, either in price or in how it’s presented to guests, would go a long way. We would return for the wine, the food, and the setting, but choose a different room.
