Google· a month agoWe had an absolutely wonderful stay at Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun. The hotel is excellent, but what truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. A special thanks to the Momo Cafe staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate us as vegetarians. They were extremely careful and thoughtful about the food being served to us, patiently answering our questions and making sure we were comfortable with our meals. Their attention and willingness to help really made a difference. The location is also fantastic. Seoul Station is nearby, and Myeongdong Shopping Street is within walking distance. Just opposite the hotel, there is also a huge market area, which was very convenient for exploring and shopping. One small but extremely thoughtful facility we appreciated was the luggage weighing scale provided by the hotel. This is especially useful in Korea when you end up shopping a little more than planned! 😄 We honestly had no complaints at all. From the location and facilities to the exceptional service, everything was wonderful. Staff: 10/10 ⭐ Hospitality: 10/10 ⭐ Location: 10/10 ⭐ This is definitely a hotel we would love to come back to on our next visit to Seoul. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable! ❤️

Tripadvisor· a month agoThe hotel is in the midst of downtown, with an airport bus stop, other local bus stops and the metro, shops, markets and restaurants nearby and several sights at walkable distance. We had arrived too early for check-in and left our luggage with reception only to find out later that they had upgraded us from a deluxe 2Q room to a Junior Suite. The elegant and tastefully decorated suite had a view towards the Seoul Tower and comprised a lounge, the bedroom and a really spacious bathroom. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of Asian and Western food. And the entire staff was friendly and helpful. It was the perfect starting point for our 10-week trip around the world!

Trip.com· 4 months agoWhen I booked, most room types were already sold out, so I went in with modest expectations and ended up with one of the smaller rooms. The space was definitely on the compact side, but it was well laid out, and after settling in, it didn’t feel too restrictive for a couple of nights. What I appreciated most was the location — very easy to get around Myeongdong, whether for quick meals, meetings, or just a walk in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked as it should.

I am a regular guest who visits every year, and remarkably, she has been at the front desk each time I’ve checked in. What impressed me deeply was her exceptional thoughtfulness—she not only recognized me immediately and asked how I had been, but also welcomed me with genuine warmth and even prepared a sweet, thoughtful gift. It is exceedingly rare to encounter someone who remembers returning guests with such personal care and attention to detail. Her hospitality truly moved me and made me feel genuinely valued as a returning guest. Please pass along my sincere thanks and highest compliments to her for going above and beyond. Employees like her are the exact reason I continue to return to Courtyard Myeongdong year after year.

It’s located right in central Seoul—walking distance to Myeongdong, shopping areas, and so many great spots—yet the environment stays peaceful and relaxing. The facilities are spacious and comfortable, and our room was cozy and inviting. Both the café and breakfast were delicious, and the 22 Café offers some of the best views of Seoul and Namsan Tower. The staff were consistently polite, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We were celebrating our 13-year anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with complimentary wine, which made the experience even more special. Truly a memorable stay. Highly recommend!

Google· 3 months agoStayed two nights at this Courtyard, it was superb. Literally all staff at this Courtyard are fabulous, always on hand to help and super friendly. Front desk staff are professional and smooth at check-in. They also offer complimentary Korean ice cream at lobby area for hotel guests. Concierge and Momo cafe staff are great. Good variety of breakfast food selections at Momo cafe. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Well equipped and maintained. Beds are very comfy. This hotel is conveniently located in central district of Seoul city, walking distance to Myeongdong shopping area and just few mins taxi ride to historical sites. Hotel also offer complimentary shuttle bus service between Seoul station (high-speed rail). Airport limousine bus stop (bus no.6001) is about 3-5 mins easy walk from the hotel. Will definitely stay here again for us next trip to Seoul. Good job Courtyard Myeongdong!

Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Myeongdong is a fantastic hotel that offers great service and pays close attention to their customers' needs throughout the stay. They accommodate for their customers - you are not rushed for daily room service - when you are ready, they are ready; you feel at home with them even after check-out whilst awaiting your late flight; amenities are excellent - affordable and convenient laundry services; friendly staff who greet at all times; and concierge services that offer competitive pricing as compared to other car services. I am a happy customer and based on my experience with this hotel, I have become a loyal customer for my future international travels. Keep up the excellent work, Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Myeongdong!

Google· 3 months agoHad a wonderful stay! The hotel offers great amenities (coin-operated laundry, self-service ice machine), which made our stay even more convenient. Momo Café can get quite busy during breakfast, so there may be a queue, but the staff handled the crowd exceptionally well. Always courteous, friendly, and efficient, making the dining experience pleasant despite the rush. The hotel offers excellent value for money and is conveniently located just a 8-minute walk from the heart of Myeong-dong via underpass or pedestrian crossings!
