Located 3 mins walk from the train station. 5 mins walk to Dongdaemun and DDP by Zaha Hadid. There's a number of shopping mall there and also an outlet mall. 15 to 20 mins walk to Cheonggyecheon stream. Lots of eateries within walking distance. In front of the place is the bus for the direct transit to airport. And across the road is the National Medical centre.

I had an extremely disappointing and distressing stay at Uljiro Coop Residence Dongdaemun. !! During my stay, I was badly bitten by what appeared to be bed bugs in my original room. After reporting the issue, I was moved to another room, only to experience the same problem again. The bites caused severe itching, discomfort, and significant stress, which negatively impacted my entire trip. The situation did not end after checkout. When I returned home, I had to isolate and thoroughly clean all of my belongings, clothing, and luggage to avoid bringing bed bugs into my home. This caused ongoing anxiety and inconvenience long after the stay itself. To make matters worse, I also saw cockroaches roaming the corridor floors, which raised serious concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards of the property. Unfortunately, the staff were also rude, dismissive, and unfriendly when I raised these concerns, which only added to the frustration of the experience. I have photos documenting the bites and the conditions I encountered. I would strongly advise future guests to think carefully before booking here. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.

On the positive side, the staff were pleasant and the bed was ok. There is a frequent bus to Inchon Airport literally outside the front door. I had a view of the mountains north of Seoul, but the window was quite dirty so it was hard to take a picture. Fortunately, the room stayed cool enough without it, because the A/C unit rattled. The shower wasn’t warm either day. Perhaps the price was driven by an art conference in Seoul that weekend, but not so good value for money.

Location is good. Bus station is near, the subway station has three lines.Room was big, 2 luggage can be open. The bed was supeeeeer good, we had a good night sleep here.Will stay again if we comeback to Korea, recommended!

The hotel's location was excellent. The area was very lively in the evenings. You'll never be bored. We mostly used the bus to visit tourist attractions. The hotel's cafe was very good and inexpensive. I recommend it.

Airport limousine bus is just right in front of the residence! Save the lugagge pulling hassle. Metro and bus also very easily accessible. A very great location! Cooking amenities/utensils are available too in the room. A good for value stay for 2 of us who spent 5 nights there. :-)

Good convenient location, close to all wholesale malls. This was my 3rd time staying this hotel, past two times was more then 10 years ago, so the hotel seems doing some upgrading work with construction going on in d day. But inside the room was good & clean accept small.

Great budget hotel, in a very central location in Seoul at an affordable price. We did have an issue with cleanliness in our first room, as we were shocked to discover it had not been cleaned at all. There was mold in the shower, and the toilet had hairs and urine on it I assume. Hairs were stuck to the walls of the bathroom. They said they provided two bottles of water on arrival, but our room had none and inside the fridge was the last persons left over drink and opened water. This was disappointing. After telling staff, they agreed to change our rooms and this fixed our problems. Staff attitude was very good and were friendly throughout. Note cleaning is only done on every 3 days or so, and they will tell you the days. Daily cleaning is only bin emptying and towel change. Note the bin is quite small so I recommend buying your own rubbish bags if you have too much rubbish. I recommend to buy your own hand soap from Daiso beforehand since they only provide a very tiny bar soap which does nothing to clean your hands. The beds were comfortable and we slept fine. The small kitchen was useful, and you can ask for an electric portable stove from the front desk. Fridge included a tiny mini freezer inside which was helpful, and you could adjust the freezer temperature. Wet bathroom took some getting used to, but was fine to use. Sink was way too low, so I recommend to use the kitchen sink instead. Make sure to take out your toilet paper each time so it doesn’t get wet! Shower pressure was good and water was hot. No toilet brush provided but toilet flush was very powerful so no issues. Laundry room was very convenient and easy to use. The coin washing machines and dryers had good power, and they had around 3 washing and 3 dryers so it was not too busy and you could easily wash anytime of the day. Detergent and lint sheets are available in a coin machine. Coin changer is available too if you have notes. Airport limousine bus stops right infront. Make sure to buy your tickets stopping at the Novotel Ambassador hotel, since it is the same stop. You will hear Uljiro Co-Op on the speaker announcements when they list the hotels at the stop so you know when to get off. On the way back to the airport I recommend to pay with your mobile T-money since its hassle free rather than credit card (he has to collect your credit card payment at the airport so it takes longer). Location was central and easy to travel to all parts of Seoul. Daiso nearby and affordable restaurants/street food too.
