I had a comfortable stay and I liked the location meaning it was a short walk to various places in within this beautiful city. There was a kitchen so people can do self-catering but I did not see any signs of breakfast being provided so I am not sure why they described it as a B&B. |Just one other gripe, when you are having a shower, the light has a timed sensor and it goes out putting you in darkness. You then have to wave your hand outside the shower door to let the light on again!

(stollereggi) this place is perfect to being in the town itself, just few minutes walk to the main plazas. But theres a catch, the bus stop from main train stn or intercity bus are quite distance away. distance wise its less than 2km, BUT the town is hilly, so if you have bulky bags, take that into consideration. The single room is ok for me. ppl say its old n dated, but i think the rustic-ness matches the town itself.there are areas for improvements. bed n pillow were comfy. amenities are provided (even soaps etc). i checked in late, n the host guides me thru whatsapp vid. theres kitchen, but i didnt use it(only use the fridge). personally i think the location itself is massive plus as you can explore the town till very late, or super early in morning

I stayed in the Dei Rossi apartment for a week before changing to another place. I had several issues with the apartment. 1. Upon arriving, the space did not feel clean. The floors were dirty and my sheets had stains on them. Furniture was very worn and some of the cushioned chairs had large stains on them…it was gross. 2. The kitchen is not well stocked with supplies and some of the supplies there were very worn like the cutting board. I had to buy a couple items because I was staying longer. No basics like salt, pepper, or olive oil either. 3. The common kitchen space felt uncomfortable. The lights are automatic so they go off every 5 minutes if you’re sitting still. There are no windows or natural light either. The light they do have is sterile feeling. 4. If you’re not on the true top floor, you will hear everything above you. I was on the 4th but there is a 5th. You will hear people walking, talking, flushing the toilet, you name it. It was not relaxing at all! 5. The bed and pillows were hard as a rock. The host was very nice and responsive but I’m afraid there were too many problems for me to review this BnB well. The value is not worth the cost.

This would be my choice again. Siena is the most beautiful and historic city one can imagine. The hike from the train to the headquarters is about 30 - 40 minutes. It’s easy because escalators do the hill. Then Joy helps you and can speak English to the people who have not learned Italian. You’re room may be different but our room was very nice! The WiFi was not available in our room so if you want it, make sure you ask before you go. Plan some kind of audio tour for both the city and the museums. Just walking around with a map is not good enough. This is an opportunity to learn a lot in a very short time. Rick Steve’s does a good job with it.

We stayed twice at this B&B. Both experiences were great. First time round, we had a room with a shared bathroom which was shiny clean. Second time round, we had an ensuite. It's a family-run business and the Pancinis really go out of their way to help you. There's a two-car garage right next to the property which, by the way, is a centuries-old palazzo. The welcome we received was truly special, we developed a lovely rapport with the Pancinis who were so eager to share with us their customs and traditions. We hope to return soon. And it's good value for money.

Great location.. About 15 euro cab ride from the station. (You can take city bus too, we dint explore that option). Walkable from the the main historic center. We had a room facing the Main Street and it was extremely noisy almost all night .. The room was decent size.. Breakfast was the worst we had in our 18 day italy trip.. They only have coffees , juices and pre packaged toast. No wifi. Good thing were only there for a night.

I was here one night only. Good location, only few minutes walk from city centre. Apartment was clean. There was a noisy caffe bar below the apartment. Apartment was on fourth floor. No elevator, only narrow stairs. Hard to take luggage! Basic breakfast without fruits is served in a small kitchen with only one table for 6 persons. No parking cIose to the apartment. Not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
