We had a wonderful dining experience at Racines at Sofitel. The food was excellent, but what really made the evening special was the warm and genuine hospitality. A special mention to Hannah and Faizal, who were absolutely fantastic hosts. They were attentive without being intrusive, friendly, professional, and genuinely made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. It’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back. Overall, a beautiful restaurant, great food, and most importantly, wonderful people who clearly take pride in what they do. Thank you Hannah and Faizal for making our evening so enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely dinner at Racines with family of 12. Greeted by Sherwin, the restaurant manager. Service was excellent. He helped us understand the buffet options and recommended a good wine for dinner. Sherwin was attentive to our needs and checking in often to ensure things were well. It was our first time to the restaurant and definitely will be back again. Thank you Sherwin for making our dinner night enjoyable.

Together with my families, we went to Racines for buffet to celebrate my daughter's birthday! Although the varieties are not super a lot but the quality of food is good and delicious! Confirm you won't feel thisty after that! Beside the food, the service is also excellent. Special thanks for Sathia, Hannah and April! They even provide cushions, so that my mother in law and God mother in law can sit comfortably throughout their meals. Plates are cleared efficiently too without asking. They even has an handwritten birthday card! I simply love the service provided by sofitel city centre. They always make me feel welcome. Thank you!

Had the most amazing birthday lunch today! 🎂 The buffet spread was seriously next-level, with so many delicious options to choose from. Wonderful service from Sathih, April, Faizal, Mark and Shervin. Really enjoyed the stay in a twin club room. Beds were so comfortable I didn’t want to leave! Our room had a walk in shower and separate bath. The shower was large and the water pressure was perfect. The room was spacious, lovely and quiet with very effective blackout curtains which enhanced sleep after a long flight. The pool was delightful and so refreshing after a day of sightseeing. The club lounge was great and the staff there were so attentive. We enjoyed the drinks including quality champagne and substantial canapés every night. I would definitely love to stay here again. Location was also very convenient right above MRT station and easy to get around, even directly to airport. Only very minor criticism would be some small leakage of water from the shower into the adjoining enclosed toilet (on the floor). This was a great hotel and my favourite in our 4 weeks of travelling.

Very mixed experience overall. The Sofitel Singapore City Centre is a beautiful hotel, very well located, with excellent concierge service and professional staff. However, several points made the stay feel below Sofitel standards, hence 3/5. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. The breads and pastries were the worst we had during our Southeast Asia trip, which is particularly surprising for the first French hotel brand of our holiday. Even the croissants were poor, there was no pain au chocolat during our stay, and the baguette was simply inedible. As francophone guests and Sofitel regulars, this was a major red flag. We were also surprised to learn that housekeeping is normally provided only every two days. Although we personally chose not to have our room serviced, this feels inappropriate for a hotel at this price and positioning. Reducing operational costs is understandable, but room rates certainly have not been reduced accordingly. Finally, there was no turndown service, which was very unusual. I stay at Sofitel regularly and have had turndown even at much weaker Sofitel properties in Paris. Beautiful hotel and great location, but the breakfast and reduced service standards prevent it from delivering the experience I expect from Sofitel.

The staff John is really friendly and nice, ordering was easy. We were told to sit, ordering and the food came to us promptly. Price was decent and the food was palatable. The environment was really chill and peaceful. A pleasant experience.
