The hotel was charming and beautifully appointed. Our room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the afternoon wine and cheese with the magnificent view of Sintra and the Moorish Wall. Breakfast was fabulous as well. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We could not have been more pleased with our stay.

What a wonderful place to stay!! We were in the beautiful "blue room" and our friends had a room upstairs. Both rooms were absolutely beautiful. The grounds and "palace" are also outstanding. We stayed 3 nights and were so impressed. The garden has a beautiful view of the town below and in the distance. We loved sitting out there each evening for our "social hour" with wine and charcuterie. One night, we had a violinist. Breakfast is hot and cooked to order and served in the beautiful dining area. They also have a menu with liquor and light foods that are available for lunch or dinner. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We interacted with them each day and looked forward to seeing them. It was a nice easy walk to/ from town. Highly recommended. We travel extensively, and this is one of our favorite places.

We have just returned from this beautiful hotel. The service was amazing from the friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect with the most wonderful view of Sintra. Our room, a former library had everything we needed including daily pastries, liquor and fresh fruit. The evening entertainment with cheese and wine was an opportunity to meet other guests and share experiences. All the staff were amazing but one stood out for us Jaoa was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Many thanks for a wonderful stay. We hope to return very soon. Jayne and Peter

Great historical experience and location that is within 10-15 mins walk from key Sintra tourist locations.Service was a great and as hospitable as the Portuguese.Strong recommendation for those looking to immerse in the experience.

What a special hotel in Sintra. My only regret is that we didn't spend more time there. My husband and I stayed at the Sintra Marmoris Palace Hotel our last night in Portugal. We were blown away at what a lovely place it is. The hotel is beautiful with great attention to detail. The staff were very helpful and provided excellent service. When we checked in, we were notified that complimentary wine and cheese were being served out on the patio. We went out straight away and enjoyed the beautiful view out on the patio. We were even joined by the most beautiful peacock who casually strolled around amongst all the guests. The grounds are quite extensive and beautiful, however a very bad storm had come through a few days before our arrival and caused quite a bit of damage to the trees on the property so some areas were blocked off for safety. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. We were disappointed that we had to head out early for the airport. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

What a lovely hotel in a beautiful location with wonderful staff, who couldn't do enough to ensure we had a lovely stay. The room was amazing, breakfast was delicious and we had such a great short break in sintra. We'll be sure to return and would highly recommend it.

This was my first time there and it exceeded my expectations. The hotel was like a palace and the courtyard was beautiful. There were also fish and peacocks in the courtyard. The breakfast was also one of the best I’ve had and the service was amazing. They chatted to us and offered to help us take pictures and were genuinely so nice. I would definitely go again!

Lovely, peaceful place to spend a memorable couple of days of our trip. Nothing too much trouble for the staff and we felt like the only guests there sometimes (in a good way!)
