Great location easy short walk to main thoroughfare with restaurants, gelato and shops galore. Beautiful to walk streets of Sorrento old town. Staff very friendly and helpful, English was great. They love when you try to speak Italian, really appreciate the effort.|Spotless hotel, main areas constantly being cleaned, room cleaned daily. Blue towels provided in room for the pool. We stayed on the 2nd floor and view was stunning.|Pool was perfect for dipping in & out of.|Plenty of sun loungers in area beside the pool with umbrellas received the wonderful sun if you like sunbathing. Two shops directly across from hotel for drinks, water & snacks for the room. Fridge in the room which was handy. Absolutely loved this hotel & would highly recommend.

The location is decent, the staff is attentive and the restaurant is clean. The views from the restaurant are nice. The prices are reasonable. However, there’s room for improvement, especially in the breakfast section. The fruit selection is limited, and the juices are not natural. There should be more cheese and ham varieties, and the coffee preparation needs to be improved.

Great hotel. Good base for exploring Sorrento. Just a short way from main street, Corsa Italia, but easy 5 min (on the level) walk. Family room was a great size and 2 bathrooms! Breakfast was standard continental buffet. All the staff were kind and welcoming. Swimming pool was great for cooling off, towels provided- plus a lovely sun-bed area with stunning views.

The location and the view are excellent. We were pleased to be able to use the outdoor swimming pool even in April. The highlight was the made-to-order breakfast prepared on the spot by the chef, and all the staff were extremely friendly. Special thanks for always welcoming our son so warmly, giving our family unforgettable memories. We are immensely grateful to them :)

It was actually quite a pleasurable stay, just a few things that left a bad taste in our mouths! It’s quite a decent location as only a couple minutes walk along flat road to the centre, just beware if you are walking up from the ferry port with luggage, it’s hell on earth (literally). Staff were very friendly on arrival with surprisingly no city tax charge. Room was basic enough but very nice and clean! Amazing air con which was very much so appreciated. Nice bathroom, comfy bed, fridge, safe, and a decent balcony. The pool area was quite nice, more so for couples as was quite small but great view to make up for it. The breakfast was so beyond disappointing it makes me want to laugh. Very low quality, shocking variety, and if you want eggs you have to pay €3… not a lot of course but doesn’t scream “breakfast included”. We tried morning 1 and never again, go across the road to the grocery shop and get your breakfast there instead. The biggest issue of our whole stay was at check out. The day prior we had noticed one of the lamps had a chip taken out of body, visible damage but nothing major and assumed it was always there so said nothing (our mistake). Upon check out they presented us with a €50 bill to replace the lamp as the cleaner noted it to staff when cleaning our room. Neither me or my girlfriend even touched that lamp once. Anyways I refused to pay and after some time they agreed to waive it, to be fair the staff member dealing with us was quite nice about it. It just felt like we were getting scammed out of it just as we were walking out and left a bad taste in our mouth. I’d recommend staying here if you have no interest in hotel breakfasts and beware of any damaged property in your room and be sure to inform staff immediately to avoid our situation! Besides breakfast and check out it was a very pleasant experience!

This hotel is in a great location at the end of the main street, overlooking Marina Grande, so it has lovely views from the upper floors and isn't hard to walk to from the train station. We were on the 2nd floor and the view was OK, but would have preferred to be on the 3rd floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was fine, some strange items (chocolate cake, carrot cake, c9ffee mousse!) but the croissants were great. There was fresh melon with tubs of yogurt, ham & cheese and other cakes. You can order omelettes and some other cooked eggs but have to pay extra for these (3EU) you will also be offered one coffee and will have to pay extra if you want more. Strange as you can eat as much as you like from the buffet. When we had an early morning trip to get to they were happy for us to take a few items away with us which we really appreciated. There is a bar here which has a very limited menu but still good for a nightcap. There are a few seats outside the bar, on the terrace by the small pool, and on floor 3. The pool is very small but wasn't busy when we went so was fine, and there's a terrace area with sunbeds and parasols with a nice view. As others have said, the soundproofing in the rooms is non-existent. We could hear the 2 ladies talking loudly in the room next door (and singing in the shower) as though they were in our room! Luckily I take ear plugs with me so I wasn't woken up, but my husband was frequently woken by people banging doors & dragging chairs over the tiles. Might be a good idea for the hotel to put up signs to remind certain guests to be respectful of others. The hotel is very clean, room size is fine, bathroom (shower only) was large and shower was great although the shower tray filled up and overflowed if I washed my hair and was in there for more than 3 minutes! We did report this but it still happened every day. Bed was comfy. Not enough hangers but we always take our own folding travel hangers with us.

We recently stayed at Hotel Rivage after needing to find an alternative hotel at short notice. Long story short we booked a 4 star hotel that was more like a 2 star!|My advice…..don’t look at the stars of a hotel!|Our 4 star was grubby, rough around the edges and we couldn’t stand there a minute longer.|Hotel rivage was the complete opposite! Spotlessly clean, modern, beautiful views and the best friendly staff.|The food is great overlooking the bay of Naples.|The pool and rooftop terrace is very nice to relax in (it’s next to a busy road though so be prepared for some traffic noise)|We are so glad we found this hotel after our 4 star disaster!|Don’t be put off by the 3 star tag…..it’s much nicer than majority of the 4 stars we seen in Sorrento

Fantastic base for Sorrento and surrounding area. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms modern and very clean. Reception staff very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend the tours the hotel we booked 3. All excellent 👍
