What a great place. The staff were so nice, the room was spacious, the bathroom was very nicely laid out. We were traveling from the States and this was one of our stops. We wanted to get close to Bondi Beach. You can't get much closer. Great location. Everything you need is within walking distance. Can't recommend the place enough. The ocean walk was equally awesome.

Thanks so much for the kind words. Looking after you is what we love to do, and it’s always a treat to hear we’ve made your stay. Our door’s always open, so step on through to extraordinary again soon, won’t you?

An absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. We were running late after dropping our daughter with my inlaws and when I called to advise front desk they quickly reassured me that it was no issue. Upon arrival I was extremely flustered and realised I couldn't find my wallet. Lily was the epitome of professional, offering to call where I was last located to help me find the wallet, and gently paused check in whilst my husband found my wallet in the car. Lily put me at ease and got me back on track asking about our staycation plans and it felt great that she had read my notes in the booking. (management, Lily really was fantastic) We were in an Atrium Suite and it was literally bigger than our apartment! There is a full laundry, kitchen, a huge living area with a gigantic TV, a cloud soft massive bed with another gigantic TV and an extremely spacious bathroom. Everything was top notch and I only wish we had more time to enjoy the room. We had a fantastic dinner at Besa, a short walk from the hotel and a great breakfast at Pocket. I would absolutely stay again at the QT in Bondi and would highly recommend it to others.

I’ve stayed here twice (once a few years ago) and the hotel has become quite rundown since I last stayed. There was mold all over the bathroom and the bedroom curtains, the fan didn’t work and some of the lights didn’t work. The mirrors are all grey which makes it very difficult to do any makeup. The location is fantastic, however it really needs a bit of an upgrade.

Response from the property

Hi Jules, Thanks for coming back to stay with us and for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry this visit didn’t live up to your previous experience, definitely not the comeback we were hoping for! We’ve taken your comments on board and shared them with the team. Thomas Hotel Manager

Excellent location and room! I didn't realize this when I booked on Agoda but the room is like a studio apartment with a kitchen and a laundry machine, so that was a pleasant surprise. Only subtracting 1 star because I wish the hotel had better amenities like a gym and pool. Otherwise, great experience and I would definitely come back.

Clean and well located hotel. Good service at the reception. You can see the rooms aren’t new (led lights flicking when off, door handles worn off and more) and need freshen up. The sofa bed put to our disposition for our kid wasn’t comfortable and noisy when moving. The king bed we slept on was ok.

The only thing stopping me from 5 stars is the SUPER QUESTIONABLE aircon arrangements. It turns off when either the balcony or room door is opened and doesn't turn back on when closed again. VERY bad news for your partner still asleep in the room who will get cooked and/or suffocate as the rooms become stuffy incredibly quickly, and there's no fly-wire on the balcony :-( I don't think anyone believes you're doing that for the environment, QT.

Dated and not well sound-proofed. Unless you don’t mind the sound of heavy footsteps above you and next door, maybe look elsewhere. Raised the noise issue with front desk, but they just moved me to another room with equally poor sound proofing (and a phone that didn’t work). The location is good though and it has a washer drier.

Response from the property

Hi May, Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed our location and in-room facilities, but we’re sorry the noise issues and room move impacted your stay. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will share your comments with our team as we continue to improve the guest experience. Thomas Hotel Manager

I booked 1 night as I was unsure about location and the hotel and if it was worth paying a premium. I’d just flown up from a few weeks in Melbourne and keen to get into the surf at beach. Checked in about 430pm, dropped everything and went straight to beach for a walk and a long swim.|went to have a shower but couldn’t fit comfortably as the shower was too low. So thought I d have a bath. No hot water, couldn’t get onto reception so went downstairs and told to run tap for 5 minutes and they’d come up to check. They agreed it wasn’t hot enough. They offered to move me to another room but I was exhausted and had opened bags etc.|Boiled 5 kettles of hot water to top up bath. |Deal breaker at 805am next morning was jack hammers and concrete saws. From road work. There is also construction going on in building next door. I started looking for another hotel|Once upon a time you could have called this hotel 5 star. But it’s getting tired. The king side bed was soft but sagged on one side. Floating floorboards creaked in traffic area. |Like the furnishings and fittings clearly the commercial hot water system that services the complex which has supermarkets, gyms, Mrs Bakers Boutique Hotel and private residences all work off same system and it’s not up to scratch.|FYI the same builder/designer did Mrs Bakers in same complex. This was confirmed as I rang them when I noticed same bathroom and asked if all rooms were the same as I was considering staying there. Thankfully they were honest so I moved to Hotel Bondi as it had both hot water and a shower I could fit in. Anyone close to, or over 6ft tall will have to bend over to get head wet at Qt or Mrs Bakers.
