We had a very comfortable stay at Joan's Heritage. Gianluca and Lisa were welcoming and provided a great breakfast, and were happy to help with advice on sights to see and onwards travel planning (essential for understanding the Sicilian bus network!). We could not fault the location, which was close to all the attractions and restaurants in Taormina.

The lady received us was very rude. She didn't explain clearly in advance and urge us to follow her instruction impolitely. Look at the dialogue between her and me. What she said was totally terrible and unacceptable. Regarding the room: 1. The aisle of our room is shared with another room, which is not illustrated in the introduction. 2. Our room is beside the canteen, which means every guest can pass through the door of ur room. 3. The toilet separates the room, which means if u want to go to toilet, u need to pass through the public aisle. If u care about privacy, I don't recommend this hostel.

Great location, exactly in city-centre. Our room was cosy, with balcony over looking the main road, exactly in the beginning of the pedestrian area. No reception, but the owner was very approachable and welcoming. She replied to messages instantly. Breakfast was good and an occasion to meet other people. No lift in building to go up to the rooms, use only the stairs. Very close to the shuttle bus to Lumbi parking. Close to shops. restaurants and teatro antico. Recommended for couples.

Really central location, pretty nice room design, owner was a really kind person, we felt like a guest in their home. They allowed us to do late checkin and we were able to store our luggages last day.

Beautiful hotel right at the entrance to Taormina. Owners super friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and well stocked! Highly recommended

Great location, basic rooms that could do with some renovations. The rooms are very dated, and didn't feel super clean - there was dirt on the windowsills and they were really small - just a bed and a small wardrobe with a desk and two side tables. The headboard looked dated and the fabric on the base of the bed was coming off. That being said, the location is fantastic! Despite being in the centre, you don't really hear any of the noise (at least in our room we didn't - but we were facing inside rather than on the street side). The rates were very reasonable and breakfast was included all for 55 euros for one night. The Aircon was quite loud and took a while to cool the room but for one night or two, I'd say it's great if you'll be out exploring most of the time but if you're looking for somewhere to relax or for a more luxury stay, perhaps look elsewhere. All in all a good stay for the money that we spent on it.

The most hospitable hosts who also suggest reliable guidance for food places in town. They have tasty breakfast and are charming people! Very convenient location with clean rooms and easy access to the central areas and most visited sites.

The location is extremely great, it is located on an extremely busy street. There are several great restaurants nearby, not to mention the bus stop and cable car stop are really close The girls are really nice and ready to help. You can also leave your bag there before/after checkin. Breakfast is super, however wasn’t our taste (mainly sweet things). You can choose from delicious pastries and great coffee is served as well The room size is ok. The bed was uncomfortable, really soft and used. As it is on a main street, it is quite loud till midnight and early hours as well. Not the cleanest place I have visited (previous guest’s hair in the bed)
