We've today travelled home from a lovely stay with Sonia and her family. We've made some lovely memories at B&B Sole. The B&B is very special, not only because its set amidst the lemon groves, has the most fabulous view of Mount Etna, but also because of Sonia's hospitality and small touches that make it a home from home. The pool area is sparkling clean, the rooms comfy and the breakfasts excellent. Sonia bakes a number of different cakes and jams herself and is only too willing to give help and guidance about the local area and everything it has to offer. The beaches are a 10-15 minute drive away and Taormina can be visited by both car and cable car. Mount Etna is an hour away with visitors having the option of visiting the lava rock south side of the volcano, or the less touristy side, but in my opinion more beautiful and quiet south side which is covered with green forest. Thanks so much to Sonia and her family for such a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay with Sonia and Leo. Sonia was so helpful, giving recommendations, advice on visiting different towns etc. The room was perfect, clean, and spacious. The pool is a really good size, with Etna in the background. The lemon grove that surrounds the property is a lovely setting.

B&B Sole is the most fantastic place! Surrounded by beautiful scenery with breathtaking views of Mount Etna, it offers the loveliest rooms and the most hospitable hosts. The pool is delightful, and the breakfast is delicious. We extended our stay because it was so wonderful. We will definitely return!

We spent 3 nights at Sonia’s B&B and had a wonderful experience. The property lies in a semi-rural area which is conveniently located to visit Taormina and the Etna volcano (around 30m and 1h drive, respectively). Our room was clean, quiet and modern, with a small private terrace that we used to enjoy the night sky after our daily trips. Breakfast is served every morning by Sonia herself, and it is composed of fresh, high-quality and home-made products (cakes, fruit, jam, etc), on top of the food you would typically expect in a perfect Italian-style breakfast. Sonia has been a lovely host who took care of our needs and provided some useful tips for our vacation in Sicily. We definitely recommend B&B Sole to travellers who enjoy the quiet of Sicilian countryside and Italian-style breakfast.

A fantastic stay with Sonia and Leo. It’s like being with family. They were very helpful with everything, giving recommendations, even packed us some things for early breakfast when we took an early ride up to Etna. The pool is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a fridge to put things in, if you need. If only we could have stayed longer…

Sonja was a friendly and delightful hostess who helped us in so many ways. Our room was lovely and sparkling, and the mountain views from our balcony were wonderful. The access is better from one direction than the other, and Sonia gives instructions on this before arrival, as well as recommending to us an excellent local restaurant. Staying at B&B Sole was so relaxing for us after ten days of driving into frenetic Sicilian towns and cities. Taormina was great for an afternoon visit but we were glad we chose to stay here rather than up there!

When we first drove up to the property we thought we were heading in the wrong direction down a rough dirt track, but we trusted the sat nav and ended up in HEAVEN. It was unfortunately raining when we arrived but we stepped out of the car and were hit in the face with the most deliciously fragrant lemon smell, wonderful! Set in a lemon grove with 1500 trees the B&B is so idyllic and Sonia was such a warm and welcoming host and had great communication with us leading up to our stay. The room was spotless and the bathroom was really clean and new aswell. We had a wonderful view of Mount Etna and even sat and watched her erupt one evening after dinner! The pool was lovely and relaxing and this was the perfect first hotel during our trip.
