I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff was very nice and did their best to communicate with me despite a bit of a language barrier. My room was nice, although, the walls are a little thin. And the door seemed to be slightly the wrong size and let in a lot of light from the hall. Also, my room had the style of shower where it's just a glass partition that comes off the wall a couple feet, so the bathroom floor got very wet every time I showered. The location is OK, but I wasn't aware Ushuaia was so hilly, so despite being close, the walk from downtown or the waterfront got annoying after a couple times. The breakfast is similar to a typical continental breakfast served at an American hotel.

The lady owner was super nice and sweet. I would give her ten thumbs up if I had ten thumbs. She really made us feel welcomed. Breakfast starts at 7:30am, but she was very kind and let us ate earlier because we had to leave at 6 something. There were tasty pastries, bread, eggs and good coffee. The rooms were simple yet very clean. Hotel itself feels safe because you need a key in order to enter the hotel. Non-guests will have to ring a doorbell and wait for the owner to open. The dining room was comfortable and looked fresh and modern, awesome for ins. photos. Location: very close walking distance to the downtown main street. The rooms were not very soundproof, we felt the need to be very quiet in the morning in order to not disturb other guests who are still sleeping. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable and amazing stay at the hotel, would definitely choose this hotel again next time in Ushuaia.

Room was amazing, very cosy and comfy small hotel, family run, staff are just amazing, they helped me with my itinerary, made my stay all so much better. Also amazing breakfast. I can’t fault this place, have already told Other people about it. Would highly recommend staying here, it’s very easy to walk into town, also there’s a fab local restaurant 2 min walk called little Diego. All in all 10/10

Los Calafates was perfect! Impeccable service by the entire staff, specifically Belen who ensured we had adequate transportation and information for our excursions each day. Clean, comfortable rooms with great amenities. The hotel is in a fantastic location, walking distance from the everything you need. Wonderful breakfast each morning!

Very friendly and helpful owners, good breakfast. Nice and quiet location, a little bit away from the hectic streets but not too far. Room right next to reception, it can be loud whenever someone talks in the reception area. Bathroom needs maintenance, the shower and the sink are not really new anymore.

Do not stay in this place. It is not a hotel. Maybe a hostel or just a family business. No privacy. Owner is intrusive, wants to sell you local tours, enters room without authorization, charges extra outside booking systems. First floor is noisy because rooms are not buffered.
