This place was a true oasis! The décor is beautiful and thoughtfully designed down to every detail, and our room was even better than we expected. We had a larger room on the second floor, and it was bigger than our first apartment in the U.S. It faced the street but was incredibly quiet, which was a must for me. We arrived early, but Paula, the owner, was more than happy to let us leave our luggage and she recommended a few cute spots around town for us to explore while we waited. Her hospitality made us feel welcome right away. Breakfast was delicious and personally prepared and served by Paula herself, which added such a nice, personal touch to the stay. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was especially perfect for me because I needed a quiet, relaxing place after traveling through Santiago and other busy areas the previous days. One tip: you definitely do not want a car in Valparaíso. Everything is within walking distance, and Uber is very easy for getting to and from the bus station. Highly recommend staying here!

We loved everything about this place: the location, the views, Paula's wonderful hospitality and breakfast, the comfortable bed, and the clean bathroom with an excellent shower. We had an attic room with three windows that open (including one in the bathroom) and almost 360-degree views. There was plenty of ventilation, so the room cooled quickly at night and we slept well.

Very comfortable quiet place with probably the best shower we have seen during our 12 days in Chile. Delicious breakfast. We had the attic room, which was wonderfully cool for sleeping.

We loved this place. This place is really cool. Why? - Great location. Quiet area but near the sights, restaurants - Great host. Paula was hospitable, helpful, friendly. - The place is gorgeous. If you like well designed, historical, homey, yet stylish...this is your place. We felt at home. - The breakfast. We loved how unfussy it was yet quality. Paula would ask us what time we'd like it. She even accommodated our friend who is vegan. If I were to own a small inn, this would be my model.

I am writing this review as both a guest and someone who hosted an international wedding at New Voga Guesthouse. The hotel is located on Cerro Allegre, one of the most beautiful and scenic hills of Valparaíso, overlooking the city. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated and furnished in an individual manner, making your experience here different from a regular hotel or guesthouse. The garden in the back of the guesthouse is very dreamy and romantic and you can even see the ocean from there. The owner of the guesthouse, Paula, helped us with every small detail of the wedding, making our dreams come true. This wedding was all we could have ever asked for and more - thanks to Paula and her family and the hard work they put into making this special event happen.

My parents and I stayed here for two nights while we were in Valparaíso, and we loved it. The hotel blends in with the other houses on the street from the outside, but once you enter the red facade, you can see how it has been transformed. Our room was perfect for three people, and the bathroom was also gorgeous for an old building. The hotel as a whole somehow managed to flawlessly combine a modern boutique style with historical architecture. Breakfast was also fantastic. You can't beat the area -- Cerro Allegre is filled with cute cafes, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend this hotel!
