Beautiful hotel with the Venetian charm you’d expect! The rooms look recently updated, and the service was truly top-notch. Breakfast was also a nice plus! The only thing I’d mention is that the beds are definitely on the firmer/hard side, but since we only stayed for three days, it wasn’t a big deal. The area was kid friendly and safe, we went out very late at night. Everything is within walking distance. The train station was about 30mins away from hotel, not a bad walk considering that you will be getting all the beautiful views and will see the nice stores on the way. Also there is a kids park about 20mins away from the hotel. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. What a beautiful city and what a good stay! ❤️

It’s a wonderful stay with a well equipped suite with canal view. We had great sleep every night in our 4-day stay, thanks to the big quiet room with comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning is simple but with wide selection for a morning refreshment before the city exploration. And last but not least, the location is perfect!

The location is great ，not far from the water bus, just within a 10 minute walk. The room isn’t very big, but that’s typical for hotels in Venice. It’s very clean and well kept. The shower is excellent, with plenty of hot water! The front desk staff are very friendly. The area is quiet at night, so you can get a good night’s sleep. There’s also a charming rooftop terrace, perfect for sitting down with a drink in the evening and enjoying the beautiful surrounding views.

Great location, beautiful design and excellent cleanliness! First of all, the location is absolutely fantastic! The hotel is situated in a great area, very close to the city centre, making it easy to explore the main attractions and get around the city. This is definitely one of the biggest advantages of staying here. I would also like to say a special thank you to the staff for taking my request into consideration and providing us with a room featuring the blue design, as I had mentioned in my email. The interior design and renovation were beautiful, stylish and very well thought out. I especially appreciated all the little details that made our stay more comfortable: complimentary water, tea and coffee, a kettle, disposable slippers, clean towels and a well-equipped set of toiletries. There were even cotton buds, a nail file, a shower cap and a shoe-cleaning cloth. These small touches really make a difference and show attention to detail. A special thank you for the cleanliness as well. For me, cleanliness is one of the most important things when choosing accommodation, and I was very happy with this aspect of our stay! A few things that could be improved: Unfortunately, the apartment was quite cold during our stay in mid-October, as the heating was not working. The air conditioning only provided cold air, with no heating option available. We also couldn’t turn it off ourselves and had to go to reception to ask the staff to switch it off. It would be great if guests could control the room temperature themselves, especially during the colder months. Another downside was the TV, which could not connect to Wi-Fi. This meant there was no way to watch YouTube, Netflix or online movies, so the TV was essentially just a decorative feature. The breakfast was quite repetitive, with the same selection offered every day. The variety was not particularly extensive, but I was still able to find everything I needed, including smoked salmon, Philadelphia cream cheese, bread and vegetables. I also found the check-in time of 3 pm a little late, especially considering that check-out is at 11 am. In my opinion, this makes the available time for enjoying the accommodation rather limited. Breakfast is served only from 8 am to 10 am, which is quite a short window. Guests are also advised not to come at 8 am because a group is scheduled to have breakfast at that time, making the available time slot even more limited. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay! The excellent location, beautiful interior, thoughtful little extras and cleanliness made a great impression on us. Thank you for your hospitality! With a few small improvements, this hotel could be even better🙏🏼❤️

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Ca’ d’Oro and truly enjoyed everything about our experience. The location is excellent—conveniently close to the boat stations and within walking distance of both the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square. What we appreciated most was that the hotel is tucked away in a quieter area, away from the crowds and busy streets, while still offering easy access to everything Venice has to offer. The private taxi dock access was also a wonderful convenience. The hotel itself beautifully blends history and modern comfort. The interior has the charm and character you hope to find in Venice, while still providing the amenities and comfort of a modern hotel. One delightful surprise was the balcony overlooking the city—a perfect spot to take in the atmosphere and enjoy a special Venetian moment. The breakfast was another highlight. The fresh pastries were delicious, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a fountain available to refill our water bottles, which was both convenient and environmentally friendly. The breakfast area was always well maintained, with fresh selections available throughout our meal. Most importantly, the Filipino staff truly made our stay memorable. They were attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure guests had a great experience. They kept the breakfast offerings fresh and replenished, and their thoughtful service throughout our stay reflected the warmth and hospitality of Venice. The only reason I would not rate this stay a perfect 10/10 is that the air conditioning struggled to keep up with the heat during our visit. Given how warm Venice can get, having a stronger cooling system would make an already wonderful stay even more comfortable. Overall, Hotel Ca’ d’Oro gave us the perfect balance of a great location, historic charm, comfort, and personal service. Despite the AC issue, we had a memorable experience and would happily stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet convenient place to experience Venice.

We stayed at Hotel Ca 'D'Oro in Venice on the third leg of our mini tour of Italy and it was a great choice. Our room was really big and felt more like a suite. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big with a great shower and great views. Our stay included a tasty breakfast which had a wide ranging selection and was plenty to set us up for the day. On the roof is a lovely relaxing sitting area where we made friends chatting and watching the amazing sunsets. For us the location was great as it is very close to the water taxis for Murano and the airport. The train station is a 25 minute walk but again taxis are available. There are some great restaurants in the area where we dined some evenings. Highly recommend.

Room was amazing. Truly our suite was HUGE, modern, clean, AC, was cleaned everyday, and relatively close to most local water bus and water taxi service. Near many restaurants and attractions, truly cannot complain about anything related to the hotel except the breakfast which was very lackluster and so bad we ended up just going out for breakfast the second day. Other than the breakfast- everything was amazing!!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Hotel Ca’ D’Oro is everything you hope for when visiting Venice—charming, comfortable, and perfectly located. Tucked away in a quieter part of the city yet still within easy walking distance to major attractions, it offers the ideal balance between relaxation and convenience. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated in classic Venetian style, and very comfortable after long days of exploring. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a great selection and a cozy atmosphere to start the day.
