Our experience at Hotel Tentrem was truly memorable. The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant design and a warm atmosphere. The service was excellent throughout our stay — attentive, professional, and always delivered with a smile. As part of our wedding celebration, the hotel surprised us with a beautifully decorated room and a special wedding cake, which made the occasion feel even more personal and unforgettable. Beyond the celebrations, the hotel offers wonderful facilities. The swimming pool is spacious and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The staff also helped us arrange fantastic trips from the hotel, making it easy to discover the beauty of Yogyakarta and its surroundings. Our stay at Hotel Tentrem was truly wonderful. The hotel perfectly blends luxury with authentic Javanese elegance, creating a warm, peaceful, and sophisticated atmosphere. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. We booked a room with two queen beds, which was incredibly spacious and perfect for families. There was also a comfortable sofa that could easily accommodate another person for sleeping. The amenities were complete and thoughtfully prepared, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent variety of both local and international dishes, with plenty of options to satisfy everyone. The facilities were also outstanding, including a well-equipped gym, sauna, swimming pool, and a lovely playground for children, making it an ideal choice for families. The only downside was the check-in process. Although the official check-in time had already passed, our room wasn’t ready until after 3 PM, which was a little disappointing after a long journey. That said, this small inconvenience didn’t overshadow our overall experience. Hotel Tentrem is a beautiful, luxurious, and family-friendly hotel, and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Pretty nice hotel and loves the jamu selections as welcome drink. Check in process was easy. Breakfast was great as they have wide selections of food including traditional selections like gudeg and jajanan pasar. Some food change so you wont be bored if you stay for more than 1 night. However breakfast can get really crowded so come early to avoid queue. If you come later there might be less people but some food might be out.

All is great in this hotel. Perfect for events. The guests are all very happy, meeting rooms very representative with good audio, nice coffee, and the staff is very helpful. Pak Victor and pak Krisna is particularly very responsive and friendly. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The shower room could've been bigger tho. Food and drinks are great and various. The fresh juice bar is very refreshing. Also appreciate for the jamu as welcome drink in the reception. The artwork in the hall especially Agus Sudarto's painting is remarkable and brings excellent vibe. Kids playground and gym are also worth to mention, it's obvious that management are really taking a good care about this. Overall a very satisfying hotel. Well done hotel tentrem 👍👍

The warm reception set the tone immediately, with every staff member greeting us with bright, welcoming smiles What truly stands out about Tentrem, however, is their exceptional attention to detail and proactive service. When we got to our room, a staff member unexpectedly stepped in to help us unwrap our tightly sealed luggage—a small gesture, but one that saved us so much effort after a long trip! Shortly after, we were delighted by the welcome snacks featuring traditional sweet treats rarely offered at other luxury hotels The high level of generous hospitality continued throughout our stay: - Complimentary Minibar: 100% free and fully replenished every single day. - Abundant Hydration: We were provided with six 600ml bottles of mineral water daily, ensuring we never had to ask for extra. - Exceptional Breakfast: The spread was incredible with a huge variety of delicious local and international options. Even during peak hours, the restaurant staff proactively and graciously helped us find comfortable seating right away Hotel Tentrem doesn't just offer standard luxury; they make you feel genuinely cared for. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yogyakarta !

Yep, it's really 5 star. Room and AC was very nice. Staff unbelievably friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was fantastic.....even have ice cream at Breakfast. I had a really good ribeye steak one evening...best on this trip! Our room had wifi access point on the ceiling and we observed 75 Mb/s + speeds. I think this might be the fastest ever in a hotel for me. Tremendous pool area as well. Pool absolutely gorgeous! Don't miss the pastry and bulk candy shop in the lobby. Very reasonable prices. Hope I can visit again.

Always a comfortable experience staying at Tentrem Yogyakarta (our second stay). Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. I initiallly requested an extra bed but when I arrived and asked if we can use the sofa bed instead, the staff kindly agreed. Location was perfect. When my mum left her walking stick at the room, the staff immediately contacted me to organise the pick up. Great job, team!

The hotel venue is impressive, however we found breakfast selection lacking vegetarian and healthy options. It wasn't bad or anything I just hoped to have better selection catering for health conscious meals. Tables at breakfast are too small for a family of 4 and the restaurant ambience is a bit too dark for my taste. Pool was cold, while why the AC needs to be set to freezing when it's not particularly warm outside is beyond me (but that's true for all closed places in Indonesia) This is more of a business hotel in my view. We visited with a 5 and 7 yr old and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't a great experience either.
