I recently stayed at The Rich Jogja Hotel for three nights in a Corner Suite, and it was a great experience overall. If you are traveling with family or looking for convenience, this is a solid choice. The Upsides Prime Location: The hotel is directly connected to Jogja City Mall, which is massive and very complete. It made finding meals, snacks, and daily essentials like toiletries incredibly easy. My kids were thoroughly entertained and never bored! Spacious Rooms: The Corner Suite was quite roomy. I particularly loved the large bathtub and the complete set of amenities. A special shout-out to the LBC-branded soap and shampoo, they smelled amazing! Excellent Service: The staff are very friendly, and the check-in/out process was "satset". When I had an issue with the bathtub drain, a technician arrived almost immediately to fix it. A Swimmer’s Paradise: As a serious swimmer, I really appreciated the pool. It’s large, with a deep end of 1.7 meters. The water quality was great (it didn't sting my eyes), and swimming at 6:00 AM was a highlight of my stay. Sleep Quality: The bed was exceptionally comfortable. My sleep quality improved significantly during my three nights here. The Downsides Pool Towels: One minor frustration was the lack of towels at the pool area; the staff mentioned they had run out when I requested one. Breakfast Buffet: For a 4-star hotel, the breakfast spread was just "okay." I feel there is definitely room for improvement in terms of taste and variety. The Layout: The hotel can feel a bit like a labyrinth. Navigating the hallways and the connecting path to the mall was a bit confusing for me, despite the signage. If you have a poor sense of direction like I do, you might find yourself wandering a bit! Verdict Despite the minor hiccups, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Jogja. My kids loved it, and the convenience is hard to beat!

The Rich Hotel is slightly outside the city centre. It is a very large hotel used to hosting conferences. Rooms are in two blocks, a tower block and a low rise block beside the pool. Rooms are large and comfortable. All come with a refidgerator as well as a kettle. Good bathroom and shower. Beds very comfortable.|Breakfast was very good with the choice of sitting inside or on the terrace.|There is a bar with bar food in the foyer. The hotel adjoins a big shopping centre where there is also a choice of eaterys as well as a supermarket in the basement.|Although a ride from the station, it is near the bus station.

Had our first meal in Yogyakarta in the Lavendar Lounge. The staffs were very helpful to recommend the local dishes & pleasant. Both my husband and i enjoyed our food & was greeted personally by the manager Mr Septian. All in all a memorable meal!

it has two pools but the roof top one is being renovated, the room is good, quite space and it has hairdryer also in the bathroom, the breakfast also delicious, the menu variety from Western to indonesian food, it also connect with jcm so it is recommended

Great place. Hosted our international running club H3 event. They did great jobs with loads of people. Room 2002 was huge. And bed slept great like usa standard mattresses. Breakfast buffet has so many options. Staff was kind and friendly. This place treated us like Vips . And attached to a world class mall. Could not ask for more.

The Rich Hotel was the place selected for a large group Hashes from around the world for at least 4 days. I am still at Rich Hotel travelling back on Thursday. My room was 805. Super friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast was very disappointing. Most meals had sugar or full of oil. No variety. Yogyakarta's favourite dishe Gudeg was only served once.|Very disappointing spread. The rooftop pool was under construction

Stay there for 4 nights. Pro: Spacious Room, good facilities, large swimming pools at ground floor and on rooftops, big lobby, next to Jogja City Mall which is almost everything you need was there including shopping for souvenirs or batik. Polite and helpful staff. Cons: rooftop swimming pool was under constructions, lobby was quite hot and uncomfortable as they switched off the AC. Only switched on whenever there is an event at their ballroom. Mostly will spend 20-30 mins to the station or Malioboro.
