I normally don’t write negative reviews, but this place really did not live up to our expectations. My wife and I stayed in this room in August 2024 for a midweek. First the good: the location is excellent, the price is fair for where the room is located. Internet works, there’s three doors to get through (including one steel one) before you’re in the room, so safety seems pretty high. Now for the points the owner could improve upon – although considering tourism in Zadar, I doubt there’s much motivation to do so, as tourist will come anyway. 1. The airconditioning created a pool of water right in front of the entrance door because the difference between the outside temperature and the temperature set on the airco was too large. We’re not savvy airco users, but there should be SOME solution to this issue in a summer resort like Zadar – even just a bucket of sorts. Seemed like negligence to both of us 2. The central light flickered for about a minute or two when switched on. I have epilepsy and this is exactly what triggers an attack. Come on guys, a simple light switch… 3. Speaking of lights – the tiny bed-side lights do pretty much nothing, except that their design (hanging vertically in the air like massive pencil-shaped steel bars) and location (right next to the pillow) meant I kept knocking my head into it. What’s wrong with an old-fashioned reading light that allows you to, perhaps, read something before sleep? 4. There’s no large mirror in the room – a major issue, esp. for my wife – you cannot check your appearance before heading out. 5. The door between bedroom and shower seems about to collapse – when I touched it, it almost cried. Didn’t want to try more. 6. No place to hang towels to dry after going to the beach – not exactly a luxury in a beach place where temperatures go to 35 degrees. 7. The curtain is half fallen off the rails 8. No daily cleaning of the room 9. No change of towels during stay 10. The bed linen itself got dirty very quickly – and I don’t want to know what adventures previous tenants have had here, but it must have something to do with pineapple juice, judging by the yellow stains… 11. No change of dirty cups (for tea / coffee). All in all, we will definitely not come back here and rather spend extra money to go to e.g. A’Mare (they also have an excellent restaurant, although the location seems off the beaten path). Tip to the owner: with a few minor fixes and a few hundred EUR, you can really patch up this place. Tourists will likely still come though…

Nice room, big and spacious lovely reception lady even tho it’s in a different spot which was weird. Air con was stuck on high temp so was hot, tiles are uneven and there is a loud weird sound whenever you use the water

We agree with the reviews about the bedside "lamps," which are useless except for illuminating the bump you get when you bump your head on them. Our room wasn't very big (it was difficult to open our large suitcase), but we didn't spend much time in it. Just enough time to take a shower after swimming and before going to the local konoba (the name for a local restaurant). Breakfast is very good, with a choice of five dishes, coffee/tea, and orange juice. It's served a stone's throw from the room from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., so it can also be lunchtime! Nous sommes d’accord avec les avis concernant les “lampes” de chevet, qui ne servent à rien à part illuminer la bosse qu’on aura en se les prenant dans la tête. Notre chambre n’était pas très grande (difficile d’ouvrir notre grande valise), mais nous n’avons pas passé beaucoup de temps dedans. Juste le temps de prendre une douche après la baignade et avant d’aller au konoba du coin (nom des restaurants locaux). Le petit déjeuner est très bon, il y a un choix entre 5 plats avec un café/thé et du jus d’orange. Il est servi à deux pas de la chambre de 7h à 14h donc peut aussi être le déjeuner!
