As a parent of 3 toddlers I really expected the hotel to be more adjusted to the needs of small kids and their parents. There are no sinks or toilets on kids level, even in the kids playroom, which is a must for me. Also - noise. Noise everywhere. When you finally put kids to bed, there is more noise from evening activities and almost no place to enjoy some peace. I would also appreciate some food, even a snack, available after 21. Entertainment activities are so loud my kids did not want to take part. Baby pool is more a weird fountain than a pool and so far away from main pool area, that it just makes no sense to use it. There is a great view on the sunset but unfortunately loud events in the center of the hotel will not allow you to enjoy it. Beach is very small and quite dirty. Main pools would use some robot cleaning in the evening as they are full of algae. Good points were the staff- helpful, nice, professional. Entertainment team was doing a nice job. Meals were ok and rooms were fine. I will not come back there though.

Our stay at Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik was enjoyable, but what truly transformed it into an unforgettable holiday was the animation team—especially Advance and Stewart. Their energy, talent, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm were on another level. Whether they were dancing, leading games, entertaining the children or performing in one of the larger evening shows, they gave absolutely everything. Nothing ever felt routine or half-hearted. Even during activities intended “just” for the children, they performed with the energy, commitment and showmanship of a major production. Every mini disco they led was genuinely epic. Their ability to engage the children, make them feel included and fill the room with excitement was unlike anything we have experienced at another hotel. They were always smiling, always present and clearly cared about making every moment special. The best example was our daughter Nicole, who is normally extremely shy. Advance and Stewart made her feel so comfortable and excited that she actually went up on stage to dance with them—and she absolutely loved it. Seeing her come out of her shell like that became one of our favourite memories from the entire holiday. The rest of our stay was perfectly fine, but Advance and Stewart were truly exceptional in everything they did. They did not simply provide entertainment; they created memories that our family still talks about. In fact, they are the main reason we have decided to return to Falkensteiner Funimation Borik this year. We sincerely hope they are still there!

We had a wonderful stay at Falkensteiner Club Funimation Borik! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes every day. The hotel was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and the entire staff made us feel welcome. We spent a fantastic time there with our children. The entertainment team did an amazing job – there were plenty of fun games and activities for kids throughout the day, both indoors and outdoors. Every evening ended with a wonderful mini disco, which our children absolutely loved. They were excited every single day! We highly recommend this hotel to families with children. It offers the perfect combination of relaxation for parents and endless fun for kids. We would be happy to come back!

We had a pleasant stay. The hotel was warm, welcoming and very clean. Food was always hot and cooked well, although dishes were repetitive with very similar options being offered at every meal. There was no day or evening entertainment, only the children's club. This apparently isn't on offer until July... it was the same ruling for the water slide in the pool. A number of the chairs on the terrace were cracked across the seat, so not ideal for sitting on. The all inclusive did not include lemonade for some reason, you had to pay for this even if it was as a mixer! We chose a family room which offered ample space for two of us, but for a family of four it offered very little space for clothing & in our opinion would be cramped. Sadly the housekeeping was poor - our room was never cleaned at all. Each day the only things done were the duvets were folded (pillows weren't touched), bins emptied and water/juice replenished. No cleaning was carried out at all and I had to ask on two occasions for towels as they'd not been changed. The hotel is well situated to access a variety of excursions and the local bus into Zadar. It offered lots for children, even the shops on site were clearly aimed at children. I think overall the hotel is more suited to families with young children but it was pleasant and we did enjoy our stay in Zadar.

The stay at Falkensteiner was just perfect. Plenty of food varieties, ideal for every taste. In between breakfast and lunch but also in between lunch and dinner there were some snacks like pizza and salads. Stuff was just perfect, coffee just first class but drinks too. Infrastructure was ideal. There are activities for kids so parents could enjoy vacation but also additional service in the spa are available. Definitively a must stay and book the all in package. Just 5 minutes from down town where you could walk and side-see the city. Top class package and service.

Given 2 stars due to the safety around pool, cracked stones, broken parasols and shabby sunbeds. Lifeguard on phone 99% of the day, not looked at pool once. Drinks are horrible-beer watered down, cocktails on tap pre gross and wine is like vinegar-so disappointing. Lunch was disappointing, hot food, no cheeses or meats out for lunch. Not everyone wants a hot meal at lunch. Staff were nit particularly friendly or welcoming. Given 5 stars for our room as had family suite and it was huge! Massive balcony, wish I could have stayed in there all day.

We just completed a wonderful 7-day stay with our two daughters, and it truly exceeded expectations. The facilities, food, and atmosphere were all excellent — but what made this holiday truly unforgettable were two members of the children’s entertainment team: Davor and Advance. Our girls were absolutely smitten with them from day one. They are energetic, warm-hearted, and genuinely funny — the kind of people who make every child feel seen and special. You could tell they truly love what they do, and that enthusiasm is contagious. Our daughters woke up every morning excited to go find them, and honestly, that says everything. In a world where kids’ clubs can feel like babysitting, Davor and Advance turned it into the highlight of our trip. They are, without a doubt, a big reason why we’ll be coming back. Thank you for a magical week. 🌟
