We had a great stay at this hotel. Rooms are clean and bathrooms have a nice tub and shower. The grounds are huge with a pool, trulis, playground and a pond with turtles! My only con would be that the reception didn’t tell us about any of this. We had to discover it all on our own. Reception could have been a little more warmer but other than that, breakfast is good and the hotel is quiet. Grounds are beautifully maintained.

Nice hotel in a peaceful location outside Alberobello. Nice welcome by the staff, nice room. The air conditioning was difficult to adjust and there is no ventilation in the bathroom but comfortable beds. Nice pool, but there is a 3€ charge if you need a towel. That was a first for me. |Breakfast is a buffet spread with multiple options (different breads, eggs, cheeses, yogurt, jams and honey, fruit, cakes, etc.) that cover most tastes. The large space can be a bit noisy which is somewhat off putting at 8am.

The hotel was booked via our travel agency so, 1 day before arriving we were informed this was the hotel we would stay in. We were very happy we choose for the superior class hotel. We arrived at 12:30 am, and fortunately there was a night concierge that received us and checked us in. He was very kind and we had to possibility still to buy a beer. Since we arrived in the dark, and not seen anything of the surroundings yet, we were very pleasantly surprise when we woke up the next morning and saw the hotel area. It is located in the outer land and it is very quite. The standard room we stayed in was large, and there was a great large bed, a fridge, and a nice shower.|The breakfast is extensive, and despite the groups, they were always early, so when we cam for breakfast, it was quite again, and we enjoyed our breakfast 5 times on the terrace outside... wonderful. The staff is all very helpful and willing to help you when you want something. From this hotel it is easy to drive to Trulli city Alberobello, Locorotondo, Monopolie Matera.... etc. All within a distance of 20 - 45 minutes.. perfect. We enjoyed our stay a lot, and would definitely come back again.

Arrived late on a Friday, due to flight delay, we were whisked into the dinning room for dinner, which was a set menu. It was most enjoyable. The dinning room is huge as they cater for large parties. Ours numbered 41. Afterwards we were given our keys. Luggage was already at our rooms a bonus. There was problems with the hot water that night and the next morning, slight improvement by our second night. Breakfast was a bit of a scrum, however we didn't go hungry. The rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable.|Overall a good stay just let down a little by the hit water issue, which tgey fixed and the breakfast.

Beautiful grounds but should be lit more for evening strollers. Food was not great for dinner or breakfast for a 4 star place. Pool was great however I got stung by a wasp or bee and that was awful. The ac worked very well in the room!

Great hotel but it's in the middle of nowhere. So if you are doing a tour nothing you can do other than stay at the hotel or try and get a taxi to take you to a local village.

We had with a group of 40 a stay of four nights in this large hotel. Rooms were ok, the toilet had an interesting cover that did not fit well, but all functioned. Beds were excellent and we had a silent room. Some of our group were in the trulli rooms and they were bothered by the noise of the wedding parties. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and good quality. On busy mornings there were large lines for the coffee machines. Dinners were served quickly and tastend great. The cooks did wonders for so many guests e.g. fish cooked perfectly. All personnel was very responsive, well organized, and very friendly. This place is certainly recommended for groups but I guess it also works for just few people and couples, there are seatings for these in other attractive parts of the restaurant. Finally, the swimming pool @3€pp is excellent.

I am a chef and tour operator. I have been staying here several days as I put a travel program together in Puglia for a group of Americans. My stay has be fabulous. All the people at the front desk are friendly, helpful and speak good English. Additionally, the dinners in the restaurant have been great. So, kudos to the entire team at La Chiusa di Chietri!
