Room was spacious and nicely located only (!) when the weather is nice. We were 200 m away from the reception and restaurant.|The restaurant seens to offer menu changing daily to be completed in the morning. BIG mistake. I would not advise to book the menu for sevetal nights. The dining room is very nice and so is the service but the food is average. So don't expect too much.

I was quite dissatisfied with my stay at Masseria Torricella. Upon arriving at the hotel during check-in, dinner at the property was offered to us. Since I was traveling with my father and we wanted to explore Alberobello at night, we asked for restaurant recommendations in town. The response was that “it’s very touristy there,” and we received virtually no suggestions or assistance. Another negative point was the room: despite the very hot weather, the air conditioning did not work properly, and there were a large number of mosquitoes, which greatly disturbed our rest during the night. The next day, we wanted to enjoy the hotel’s beautiful view while drinking a bottle of wine we had already purchased during our trip. However, we were informed that we could only consume wines produced by the masseria itself. I found this extremely unpleasant, considering we were staying at the property and simply wanted to enjoy the atmosphere in a relaxed way. Overall, we felt that the service was not very welcoming and was overly restrictive. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the experience.

Reserved dinner at the property. Food was excellent, staff/service was great. Our reservation was for 7:30 and there were a good amount of bugs swarming our table but almost all of them went away by about 8:15 so maybe plan your reservation a little later. We went earlier because of the kids. Restaurant is incredibly kid friendly and seems like the resort in general is very welcoming to children.

Had 2 nights at this lovely Masseria and stayed in the Trullo. The location is fantastic with a lovely swimming pool.The staff are all lovely and very helpful. Our experience was not as good as it could have been due to a large group from the USA staying at the same time which resulted in us all in the dining room , an extremely loud environment to try and enjoy our evening meal. We had a wine tasting at the nearby winery which I presumed we could walk to or transport provided , Eva told us not to walk due to wolves in the area!! And no transport provided . She encouraged us to drive which obviously spoilt the experience due to not sampling the whole tasting. Strongly suggest that some transport is provided for residents of the masseria. Overall a lovely experience and would return.

We recently stayed here for 6 nights in the guesthouse (with Veranda) located about 100m from the main building, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room is large with air-conditioning and a fridge! The bed was very comfortable too.|The location is perfect - close to all the sights in the area and about 50 mins to Matera.|We ate dinner at the Masseria several times and the food was delicious, very wholesome. Breakfast was plentiful and you can sit outside to enjoy it (although the actual buffet is inside).|The pool is a fabulous feature and was so nice to relax & chill in the late afternoon after sightseeing. |All the staff are super friendly and I definitely would stay here again!

Not recommended for vegetarians! We had booked lunch at the masseria, requested vegetarian options. They only had fava beans and orechiette with turnip tops for our entire party.

Wonderful farmhouse (masseria) hotel with views over the valley. Staff were all very helpful and friendly but especially Paulo who checked us in. Meals are served in a beautiful old room with a vaulted ceiling and are of high quality. There are rooms in the main building plus others separate from the farmhouse with their own veranda. Basic rooms but very clean. The swimming pool is such a bonus.

I have just had the best 60th birthday present from my daughters- a trip to this vineyard is a must! Giuseppe is a great guide & understands all the produce brilliantly. It has been the best of days. Please visit - you will not regret it. All the best Michelle xx
