We had a lovely stay with a beautiful view of the Nile. The room was clean, comfortable, and well organized. The best part was definitely the balcony/view overlooking the Nile, especially at sunset. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is also convenient and close to many places in Aswan. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with a wonderful Nile view. ⭐ Rating: 5/5

We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Aswan and it was a really special part of our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Everyone made us feel genuinely looked after, which made a big difference after a long journey. A special thank you to Martha from Guest Relations who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She was so warm and attentive and helped organise some lovely surprises for our honeymoon including a beautiful cake and room decorations that were waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful touch and meant a lot to us. Martha also kindly helped us with a late checkout when my wife wasn’t feeling well after our flight, which we really appreciated. Small acts like that show how much the team here truly cares about their guests. The hotel itself is beautiful and the service from the staff made the experience even better. We are very grateful to Martha and the entire team for making this part of our honeymoon so special.

The hotel is adequately managed, and the room size is fine, but the interior feels very outdated—closer to 20–30 years old. Staff training needs improvement. When we arrived early and waited in the lobby, we asked for water and were told there was no complimentary option and we would need to purchase it. For a property claiming five stars, that is not an acceptable response. In the room, two large 1‑liter bottles of water were provided, which was enough for us. However, when we asked if additional water would be available if needed, we were told no. Even though we didn’t require more, the refusal itself felt inhospitable. At $300 per night, a couple of extra bottles of water should not be a barrier to guest comfort. These interactions immediately left a negative impression and will likely make this my first and last Mövenpick experience. Additionally, the shower basin appears poorly designed. The floor is flat, so water pools instead of draining, leaving you standing in dirty water after showering. This issue was present in both rooms we stayed in. However, the landscaping is very nice, feels an oasis in the desserts. Also worth to mention is the 4-5 pm’s free chocolate bar is very nice. But most time we were outside and unable to enjoy. The Buffett breakfast is not in good quality and having large selection Overall, the service and facilities did not meet the expectations of a five‑star property.

This hotel was booked for us on behalf of a travel agency. We were escorted to the private hotel ferry and our bags brought across by the staff on the ferry. Then we got a cart up to the hotel entrance. Very stress free! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were slightly old style but very clean and had a nice aesthetic. There was a balcony with a great view over the well kept gardens on the west side of the island and the tombs at the bank of the river. The hotel was very quiet which was very peaceful.

The Mövenpick Aswan is an absolute gem. Its unique location on Elephantine Island offers an unmatched 360-degree view of the Nile that is simply breathtaking. The breakfast is a highlight—delicious, with an incredible variety of fresh options. A perfect, serene escape with world-class service!

Fantastic service! Special thanks to Martha from the concierge team. She helped us resolve a difficult EgyptAir flight change on a Friday (their holiday) with great professionalism and efficiency, saving us precious time. Mövenpick Aswan's service is definitely the best choice in Aswan!

We were there for lunch at the panorama restaurant. The food was excellent though took a bit too long to receive it. The big problem were the toilets, it needs total revamp whether on the 12th floor, or the ground floor. I spoke to the acting manager, and he took note of it. All the rest is perfect.
