I had a lovely stay at the guesthouse. Amjad is very nice, welcoming and makes sure everything is alright regularly. I felt right at home. He even made sure I had a lunch with me when I checked out very early. The guesthouse is in a very quiet location surrounded by nature, with a beautiful view from the rooftop. And the room was comfortable and spacious. If I ever come back to Elephantine island I’ll come back here!

My wife and I stayed at Prince Guesthouse. We loved it. Staff was friendly and accommodating and Elephantine Island is super chill and a quick and cheap boat ride to get there (10 Egyptian pounds each way per person). From the dock about a 5 minute walk to the hostal. The views from terrace up top are great. Room and bathroom very basic but again the vibe is super chill.

Very pleasant stay at El Prince Guesthouse, quiet with its terrace overlooking the Nile. Easy to get to Aswan. The host, Amgad, is very friendly and available to make excursions at very reasonable prices. He takes care of everything and we can ask him to take us by boat to see the surrounding islands. Abu Simbel is also possible. St. Simeon Monastery is particularly beautiful.

Very nice hotel with a magnificent rooftop over the Nile. The surroundings are very charming and peaceful. The host is very welcoming and arranged meals as well as several excursions for us very easily. I can only recommend !

El prince guesthouse was a really beautiful guesthouse in the middle of the nile in the elephantine island!! The view from the roof was amazing and the stuff were really friendly , polite and ready to help us with every little detail from making sth to drink or eat to give any info for the place or get us to the other side!! Stuff also arranged us a ride with the camels to monastery of saint simon in a very logical price. Also rooms were clean and cozy!!! We strongly recommend it !!!

Great service and great beds! They kinda locked us out but it was a fun adventure to climb a tree and break into our room! They even took us back to our cruise ship themselves so that’s a plus!

Where do I begin. If you're staying in Aswan, you have to stay on Elephantine Island and if you're staying on Elephantine Island you have to stay in El Prince. What a beautiful, beautiful location. Elephantine Island deserves to be its' own country. You step out of the intense hustle and bustle of Egyptian life and end up transported to a different world on the island and the crown jewel of it all is El Prince. A wonderful place to stay with clean rooms, excellent water pressure and to make your trip perfect, Amjad and his cousin are there for your every need. They have created a quiet sanctuary where you can relax and enjoy the view of the historical sites of Aswan from a beautiful rooftop terrace. Really recommend this place!

The manager Ebrahim made this stay so special. He was available at any time and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. He fetched us from the ferry boat with a wheelbarrow for our bags 🤣🤣😍 Made sure we had everything we needed, organised us train tickets and a motor boat to go to the tombs. Brought a lovely fresh breakfast of fresh salads, bread, omelette, cheese, fruit and juice and made us fantastic Turkish coffee! The rooms are fine, backpacker friendly and clean. The shower is not the best but Ebrahim promised he would sort it out. We would definitely stay there again, it's on elephantine island which you have to explore anyway And super central to everything.
