I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for 20 days, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and incredibly clean. Every member of the staff was professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made me feel at home throughout my stay. I would especially like to express my sincere appreciation to Ms. Christeen Geres from the Public Relations team. She is one of the main reasons I enjoyed my stay so much. Her professionalism, kindness, positive attitude, and genuine care for every guest are truly remarkable. She is humble, friendly, funny, and always goes the extra mile to make everyone feel comfortable and valued. Her dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed, and she deserves special recognition for the outstanding service she provides. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I will definitely be returning very soon, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and welcoming experience. Keep up the amazing work, and thank you all once again!

Great hotel in great location. Service was great. Rooms are spacious and clean with amazing views of the Nile and sunset. Not crowded with plenty of loungers and space around the pool. Easy to get across to the mainland for our excursions via the free shuttle ferry every 15min. Food was ok, can be repetitive across the restaurants. Prices were reasonable. Christeen guest relations went out of her way to make our stay perfect.

A good hotel incorporating a beautiful setting. We found the rooms to be average and the bedding good but not exceptional. Meals were ok, and the Italian restaurant very good with friendly service and authentic food. The cost is appropriate. A good place to stop over.

The location was very nice and the staff was all very wonderful and caring to our needs. We arrived much earlier than check in time and they were kind to accommodate us. The location is beautiful and the shuttle runs every 30 minutes back to the city which was perfect. However, this hotel was likely beautiful in its prime. The AC barely worked in the room, one of the best was broken and caved in, and everything was overall quite run down. We stayed in the Pyramisa in Cairo the night before and that was amazing, but unfortunately this property does not live up to that one. There was also nonstop construction noises all day. I would not stay here again unless there were to be major renovations and a much needed rise in standards

Really enjoyed our night here. All the staff are super helpful. There was a lovely guy working by the pool also very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Overall very happy with our time here. Location is amazing with beautiful views. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a great (but short) visit. This hotel is situated on an incredible spot in the Nile River. It really does have a special place, and the gardens, layout and separation this place has makes it truly remarkable. You can wander freely around the island and enjoy the scenery, find a riverside bench or chair and just take in the sunset backdrop to the Nile river’s cool flow. Because it’s on an independent island, you take a Nile boat ride (provided by the hotel) to and from the property and they do this every 30 minutes. The whole experience was enjoyment, only minor issues like limited closet storage, luggage racks in the room and hooks in the bathroom keep this from a full 5-Star rating on the room. The on-site buffet was top notch and has a great view of the property. The staff was inviting and helpful, adding to our great experience.

Pyramisa Island Hotel had one thing going for it — its location on the Nile is genuinely beautiful. Everything else was a disappointment that compounded daily. Rooms were misrepresented at check-in, sold as upgrades when they were simply what we’d booked. Our bed configuration request was ignored, then offered back to us as a free upgrade. The air conditioning failed in 40°C Egyptian heat — we were told it was fixed, it wasn’t, and the repair left a large hole in the ceiling. Issues with hot water only with no cold at times. Broken shelving throughout the room. WiFi capped at one device per code and barely functional. On arrival we found HAIR in the bed and stains on the sheets. Staff were largely indifferent until eventually replacing the sheets — which smelt musty. The hotel sent a fruit platter as an apology. It arrived mouldy. A staff argument broke out loudly in the lobby with guests present. When a room change was offered on our final night, the replacement was identical to the one we were leaving. Christine in guest relations genuinely tried to help and deserves credit for her efforts. Regarding this hotel, you can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig. The property is visually tired and clearly lacking investment. It bears little resemblance to the photos used to market it. Most importantly — the hotel approached us directly in what appeared to be an attempt to influence our review score before submission. Make of that what you will when reading the ratings on this property. Beautiful location. That’s it. Do not stay here.

I’ve come here to give an honest review for this hotel. Quick Summary: This is not a 5-star hotel, it is a 3-star hotel, but it also charges as one, so if you approach it with that in mind you will be far less disappointed than previous commenters. It is absolutely not the worst hotel ever. They've just managed expectations very poorly. They also basically fill out the Booking.com review for you on your way out, so don’t listen to Booking.com. Positives: The location is really nice. It’s at a great spot on the Nile, with fun vibes around it. They also have a nicely kept facade which does amplify the experience. This is why they can charge like a higher-end 3 star hotel. The restaurants will not be winning any Michelin stars, but I’ve had a lot worse. We had the Italian restaurant both nights. The food was nice enough and the atmosphere was quite nice. It was also pretty cheap. The staff I encountered were very nice and do care a lot about your experience. I actually also slept well on the bed, it was comfy enough. The negatives: As mentioned by others the rooms are not very well cleaned, and it is evident that they have skimped on the contractors who did their most recent renovation, there is a lot of poor craftsmanship on show. So there was a lot to be desired. The TV remote didn’t work, we were given a used mini shower gel and the towel rack was barely hanging on. One towel they initially gave us was stained questionably as well. That said, I can tell they’re doing works around the site to try and improve it. If they invested in some basic works in each room to tidy up small spots of bad craftsmanship and elevated their cleaning standards they would make the experience a lot better. So, all in all: Don’t book here if you’re particular on cleanliness, room niceties or looking for an actual 5-star hotel. Book here if you’re happy with a good bed in a passable hotel in a great spot, with amenities that do the job.
