We stayed at the Tolip Hotel Aswan for one night and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and made our stay feel special. The staff are absolutely incredible — warm, professional, and genuinely caring. A special mention to Ahmed at the restaurant, who was exceptional: polite, attentive, and extremely helpful. He, along with the entire restaurant team, provided excellent service. The food is great too! The reception staff were equally welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate us, including arranging a late check-out for our late flight, which we sincerely appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and very well run. Our only reason for rating this stay 4/5 is that some of the rooms and finishes could benefit from modern upgrades. With a few updates, this hotel would easily be a flawless 5-star experience. Overall, an excellent stay with exceptional hospitality. We would happily recommend the Tolip Hotel Aswan and would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel! Staff were very helpful and laundry services were good value. Amazing buffet breakfast. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and they put on a fabulous show drinks and dinner.

A beautiful hotel with a stunning panoramic view over the Nile, featuring classically and tastefully furnished rooms and exceptionally kind staff. The agency we were traveling with for our Nile cruise booked this hotel for our last night in Aswan, and when I realized that the room did not match what had been requested, paid for, and agreed upon with the agency, the agency manager failed to find a solution. Meanwhile, the hotel manager, on his own initiative, offered us a wonderful room perfectly suited to our needs. Tolip is truly an excellent hotel.

We stayed here two nights (booked for us through a tour company) and the rooms have no soundproofing at all. The first night we heard everything happening on the street from every car that drove by to the loud honking that went on for hours. We were able to put earbuds in and fall alseep. On the second night some other hotel/cruise ship was playing music so loudly it felt like the speaker was in our hotel room. I understand this is not the hotel's fault but there should be better soundproofing for a 5-star hotel. The staff and the Nile View are nice, but not being able to sleep has been a huge problem. If the facilities or food were very good that could have helped, but were not exceptional nor fitting for a 5 star hotel. Save yourself some sleep and stay somewhere else.

The hotel is best suited in Aswan with spectacular views. The breakfast is very good. The staff is very friendly. We stored our luggage overnight while we were in Abu Simbel. Our room was prepared well with welcoming fruits when we returned. The manager, Monica, deserves a special thanks for her hospitality and kind thoughts to make a special birthday cake delivered to our room. She was the one who noticed my birthday via my passport. The rooms maybe old but it’s a natural aging just like every thing else. The overall quality of the rooms and hotel facility are outstanding. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Aswan.

We only had one night here on a trip to Aswan, but we're really pleased with the choice. Beautiful view from the balcony, a lovely pool for a quick swim after a busy day, comfortable bed and a fantastic breakfast. It's a shame we didn't have a few more days, hopefully next time!

The hotel is across the Nile river and our room was facing the river and could see the cruise lines. The problem was the the loud noice from the bar on the river bank (owned by Tolip as well) played loud noise into midnight that we couldn’t sleep. The room was old and no maintenance, hair was found in the bath tub… avoid this place if you can. We later stayed at another hotel in Aswan was way better.

We only stayed here one short night however it was fabulous. Staff was attentive. Hotel interior was spectacular. Jewellery shop owners, husband and wife, Jacob and Vivian are very nice people and experts at their craft. The food was very good and my highlight was the view from the rooms and seeing the suset. Phenomenal. Rooms might be a little outdated but everything worked. Thank you for the lovely stay. Will come again.
