We had a wonderful stay at this B&B in Banff. It was very clean, in a great location right in town, and everything was within walking distance. Parking was easy and convenient, and breakfast was kept in the room fridge every day with a good variety of items. They were very attentive to a breakfast request I made, and I really appreciated that. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area

We really enjoyed our stay here late August 2026 for 1 night. Room was clean, well temperature controlled. Had parking off-street too. Also appreciated the fruit, waters, and breakfast in the fridge when we arrived, which was a plus given our early departure the next day. Probably an 8-minute walk to downtown Banff.

A Good Nite's Rest is exactly what it's name says; a place to sleep in this extremely expensive town. Don't expect a traditional bed and breakfast, which is charming and inviting. This is not that. Our ground floor room with 2 queen beds was very basic. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable but that's about it. They didn't make any effort to make this place more inviting. There are no pictures on the walls, no hook or towel bar in the bathroom, just a small table and 2 old chairs to sit on.|The breakfast is left for you on a tray in the fridge. The variety and quantity of food was very good but there were just a few flimsy plastic cutlery provided and I had to ask for some paper plates. There were no napkins or bowls.|On the plus side, the location is great. Its located on a quiet residential street just a very short walk from the main street of Banff. There is free parking available, although its very tight.|As long as you accept the fact that this is very basic accommodation at a somewhat affordable price you will be satisfied.

I booked a A Good Nites Rest because I was hoping to visit and the have a generous cancellation policy, but then they didn't honor it. They argued that because I called to cancel and left a message, instead of using Booking.com to cancel, it wasn't valid. But Booking.com wasn't working properly, and they didn't pick up their phone! They should have at least had the courtesy to call me back, or been more helpful later on once they had the full details of what happened! Also, note that the prices vary dramatically by season ($100 in the Winter -> $400 in the Summer), so some of the reviews will reflect the lower standard of the $100/night rooms. If you're expecting $400/night quality or customer service, they won't come close.

Great room, great location, amazing service. They refill your breakfast without fail. It was one of my best lodging experiences and an amazing impression on the location. Would genuinely recommend them to anyone staying. And I will definitely be staying here again when I inevitably come back to Banff.

We were staying on the 2nd floor - the stairway close to the top had no handrail so was very unsafe. The two chairs were worn -- needing to be replaced. The breakfast part wouldn't be considered an actual breakfast. It was all in the refrigerator - just stuff to microwave, or cereal. Definitely not anything worthwhile based on the overall cost of the room. On the bright side, at least the bed was comfortable.

The pictures accurately display the room and bathroom. The host was friendly and housekeeping came by daily. They have parking spaces just enough for 3 cars. The room comes with a microwave and breakfast. The breakfast has a good variety. Overall a lovely value for money stay for Winter.

My stay here was truly exceptional! Even though I arrived around 11pm because of a late flight and they made check-in a breeze. Waking up to a daily restocked fridge with a delightful breakfast selection felt like a personal touch. What amazed me most was how warm the rooms were considering it was -30°F outside, it felt like a cozy haven. No need for extra blankets or a heater; the insulation of the room was fantastic. Big rooms. Great breakfast. Amazing price. 100% recommend!
