Myself and my companion stayed at this hotel for two nights, from August 20 to 21, and we had a wonderful experience. The service provided to us was truly exemplary. The two receptionists were extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay. The manager, whose name I unfortunately did not get, was exceptionally hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends, as well as to anyone planning to visit Bangkok. You can expect warm hospitality, excellent service, and a very pleasant stay.

Very very very helpful and welcoming staff. Everything was clean, you have a 24 desk staff the rooms are also affordable for either short or long term stays. There is plenty to eat nearby walking distance, not to mention MBK center is only a 10 minute walk as well as the train station. I will definitely come back here on my next visit.

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! It has a fantastic atmosphere! Spacious and clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff and hosts, and a good breakfast! Coffee, drinks, juices, water, and popcorn are available by the pool 24/7! The hotel's location is excellent, close to everything. We'll definitely be back ❤️. Best regards to the staff and owners, a family with three children and a lot of luggage that couldn't fit in a taxi 😁😉

Friendly staff and nice stay, but not as nice as the pictures suggest. Pool is also in the main lobby so all guests arriving can see and no where to relax by the pool

We (me and my partner )stayed for 2 nights, we choose this hotel because the location is beyond with its price. We kinda knew that it is an old hotel but we thought that was okay, It’s not the first time we stay in one. Parking by the street, not quite preferable but still can-do. The room is quite okay, the shower room is clean. But the room cleanliness needs immediate improvement. Both of us are super sensitive to dust. We were getting dry throat since first night. Now both os us is catching a flu. We’ve been travelled and eaten a lot in BKK, none of any hotel gave us flu. Renovation or whatsoever is one thing, what can be improved now is the caring to clean the room. With an antique hotel like this, I believe it has already served a fortune return, please consider spare some operating cost for cleaning!

I had a much better experience than I expected staying here. At first, I was a bit unsure because of some of the reviews, but it turned out to be a really great choice. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. My friend arrived really late at night, and they were still fully awake and ready to help us. They took care of everything very carefully, which I genuinely appreciated. The location is probably one of the best things about this place. It’s super convenient, I could walk to almost everywhere I wanted to go. Banthat Thong Road is nearby with lots of great food, and it’s also very easy to get to National Stadium. The surrounding area is lively, and having two 7-Elevens close by made everything even easier. I was also worried about cleanliness at first, but everything was perfectly fine. The water was clean, the bed sheets were fresh, and the room overall felt comfortable. I even brought my own filter but didn’t end up needing it at all. The only downside for me was that the lighting in the room was quite dim, and there were a lot of mirrors, which might not be everyone’s preference. For the price, this place is definitely worth it. The quality is much better than what you would expect for how affordable it is. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would come back again.

My family and I experienced truly exceptional hospitality at Diamond City Hotel, right in the heart of Bangkok. From the moment we arrived, the owner and staff made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The food was amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with great amenities. Above all, the hospitality was beyond words, something that truly sets this hotel apart. We had a lovely two night stay, and our experience became even more special, when we had a warm and memorable conversation with the hotel owners themselves. As a Bhutanese, I felt incredibly proud when they shared their deep admiration for our King. Their faces lit up when they learned we were from Bhutan, and they kindly gifted us beautiful souvenirs before our departure, a gesture we will always cherish. I highly recommend Diamond City Hotel and sincerely encourage all travellers to choose this centrally located hotel to experience extraordinary hospitality and heartfelt warmth.
