For other options, the Kannawa district, about 15 to 20 minutes by bus from Beppu Station, is known for jigoku mushi steam cooking and geothermal pudding. Kitahama, roughly 10 minutes on foot from Beppu Station, has izakayas, yakiniku, and late-night ramen. The station area offers quick meals like teishoku sets. A convenience store is within walking distance for basics.
The ryokan sits in a quiet residential part of Beppu, a short walk from Beppu Park, which is 15 minutes away on foot. The area is close to the city's hot spring culture, with Beppu Onsen about 2.1 km off and the famous Hells of Beppu roughly 4.1 km away. You are also within a 15-minute walk of B-Con Plaza and Global Tower, giving you local landmarks nearby. The neighborhood feels calm and traditional, fitting for a small, chef-run inn. For more lively spots, Beppu Station and its surroundings are about 2.1 km away, reachable by a short taxi or bus ride.
