Easy stay for families! We stayed here for 2 nights, arriving after an overnight flight and very jet lagged. The facilities are great for kids (ours are 5 & 6). They loved the playground, pool, bowling alley, and kids' club (in the afternoon). Parents stay in the area of kids' club, still a great way to catch your breath and enjoy a coffee. We did a long walk on the boardwalk and beach, which the kids enjoyed too. All of the staff were super friendly, helpful, and kind to kids. If we had more time, we'd try tennis and surf lessons. Great value!

The location is beach front, so walking with toddlers to the beach and back- awesome. Food was quite good, some rooms are definitely older than the others, but all was clean. For kids- playground, and a pool. Pool though was a little cold, yet it's probably just a thing in Portugal.

The hotel itself is not bad, but what really stood out to me was the lack of consideration for the guests. They organized a party in the bar that continued until around 12:30 AM. The music was extremely loud and could clearly be heard in the rooms, especially on the lower floors. I asked the staff if they could lower the volume, but I was told that it was part of the scheduled program and would continue until around midnight. I don’t think a party for 5–7 people should disturb the peace and sleep of the entire hotel, especially that late at night. Overall, the stay could have been much better if more attention had been paid to the comfort of the guests.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while walking the Camino de Santiago. While the property itself is beautiful and our stay was otherwise fine, what happened afterward has completely changed my opinion of this hotel and left me seriously questioning the honesty, transparency, and integrity of the staff. I accidentally left behind an extremely precious family heirloom in our room. This was not some replaceable item I simply misplaced along the Camino. I know exactly where I left it, and I called the hotel promptly after realizing it was missing, specifically telling them where it had been left. What followed was incredibly disappointing. Rather than showing genuine concern or making me feel that the situation was being thoroughly investigated, I was repeatedly told that the item simply “wasn’t there,” that perhaps I had left it somewhere else, or that it was probably still somewhere in my luggage. I called multiple times, explained the situation repeatedly, and received the same dismissive reassurances with absolutely no meaningful progress. There is something deeply unsettling about being told over and over that you must be mistaken when you know exactly where you left something—especially something with enormous sentimental and familial value. I am not going to publicly accuse any specific person of taking my heirloom without proof. What I will say is that based on the way this situation has been handled, I do not feel I have been given the full story. An item does not simply vanish from a hotel room between a guest checking out and staff entering that room without someone, somewhere, having information about what happened to it. The complete lack of urgency, empathy, accountability, or transparency has been appalling. A beautiful property means very little if a guest cannot trust that something accidentally left behind will be handled honestly and responsibly. I sincerely hope—for my family’s sake and for the sake of this hotel’s integrity—that my heirloom suddenly “turns up” and is returned to me. Until then, I would strongly caution other travelers, particularly Camino pilgrims carrying meaningful or irreplaceable belongings, to be extremely careful about what they leave in their rooms. This experience has left a horrible stain on what should have been a beautiful part of our Camino.

The hotel might have been considered 4 star 10-20 years ago. The rooms are spacious, but the bed and TV are on a level of a 2-3 star hotel on today's standards. Feels like the amenities have got stuck in time. No shampoo or conditioner in the room, even shower gell bottle said "hand soap". Bed was old stiff spring mattress and you could literally feel the springs through when laying down. I woke up my back and neck hurting. Easy improvement would be to get mattress toppers from IKEA.

Very good location with a beautiful view from the window. The rooms feel a bit worn, though everything is clean and tidy. The hotel overall has a slightly used feel. Breakfast is good and sufficient. A comfortable stay, mainly for the location and view.

Fabulous hotel on beach front , staff lovely and food / rooms very good . Spa services excellent with great massages after a day on the Camino But architectural aesthetic designs make a number of areas very unsafe for guests both you and old alike . Feedback has been given to the hotel management . Hence the 4/5.

I was there for 2 nights only and this was travel's agency choice and I couldn't be happy for this.It is far from Porto -50 km qnd this way shall stay in the hotel's area with not a lot of activities after dinner. For our stay they even not change towels not taken the garbage.I will not recommend this hotel for single stay,but for travel agencies is the perfect way to sell their dayly excursions.The reception staff is helpful /especially Luis /, and they are trying to do the best.
