I very rarely write reviews and have never given less than 5 stars. Unfortunately we had the worst check in experience of our lives (and we are seasoned travellers). We came in earlier because my partner had severe food poisoning and asked for a slightly earlier check in. The only answer was always an instant “no”. There was no attempt to alleviate the situation. My wife was called mean when we asked again after waiting for 2.5 hours and the receptionist walked away and came back after removing his name badge… All we wanted was an attempt at prioritizing the cleaning of our room or a simple invitation to wait somewhere. 2/5 stars as the hotel is very well located and the view from the room was great (although we were initially given the wrong room and had to insist on receiving the one we booked on booking.com).

Great rooms and service all around. The location is super. It's right across from the Gulf. There is a Maya train shuttle bus that stops right out front! The only issue we had was the cost of the buffet in the morning. Supper prices are a lot cheaper and the food was super. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice location, kind and helpful stuff. Room was large and very comfortable. Additional breakfast was 300$ per person but we wanted to eat in historical center. There are parking areas in front or back of the hotel. You can easily stay with 2-3 kids even.

Very good place. Excellent service, clean and spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, very nice view and location (you can go exercise along the beach line). Only a couple issues: the bath is small (you inevitably rub your arms against the curtain while bathing), the food was a little untasty which I think it's typical of buffets. Overall a very good place to relax if you enjoy kind or luxurious hotels.

It is a very nice hotels with great views, but a bit overpriced. They display the prices in the reception area and they change per day and per availability. But a high price comes with high expectations, after all you buy a certain quality.........right? The beds are great, fluffy pillows the internet is fast and reliable. There is a coffee maker (but they give you only 1 cup, 1 coffee and 1 person sugar etc) and daily complimentary water. The room looks very nice. Maybe when you stay a night, you do not notice, but I stayed much longer and than things start to show: >> my balcony is useless, no chairs, the door doesn't slide open I have to use force to open it. >> When they rent out facilities for parties the noise travels through the bathroom air vents and you listen to loud music and singing until the early morning hours >> The pipes in the bathrooms are noisy, when someone in the room next door takes a shower my pipes rumble and squeak very loud, when someone upstairs flushes a toilet I can hear it. >> There is a lot of contact noise from above, moving furniture, footsteps, children screaming, even the wheels of the luggage you can hear >> The water pressure is low >> Housekeeping has too little staff or a bad work schedule, for the room was never ready when we returned to the hotel in the late afternoon, we always had to wait till after 4 before they finish and the corridor is always dirty >> the elevator broke and was not repaired so it took forever to get an elevator >> no space to put your things, the closet is filled with other stuff and has no shelves so you cannot put anything, just a few clothes hangers >> the bathroom has a shower curtain, why?? After every shower the whole floor is wet outside the shower space because it barely fits >> towels are horrible, grey, stained, threads everywhere and even have holes. >> the pool is very small, we never used it for it was always crowded and there are not enough chairs and sun beds for everyone >> check-in took forever and while waiting outside with the motorcycles and luggage I was pressed by the parking dude to move the bikes for "I was blocking the entrance", but there was nobody and I was not blocking anything, I was parked a little before the entrance and cars could easily pass. (The next day a touring car wat parked there for 2 days, he was blocking everything!!) >> There is a huge parking behind the hotel but no covered parking, so our bikes were out in the rain and the hot sun for over a week. >> after check-in there was no staff to help us with our luggage, everyone with a SUV or from American origine was helped first even when they arrived after us For a hotel with this price range you expect better. Still, a nice place to stay, for a short stay, when they do not facilitate parties. My room was on the second floor, room 208

We took the Tren Maya to Campeche and the SUR terminal bus from the train station drops off in front of the hotel. It is extremely convenient for train travelers. It is a 2 minute walk to the entrance of the historical town center. Modern comfortable hotel with bar and restaurant. Rooms have hot water, A/C, coffee, and plentiful power outlets. Staff knows some English and we were able to communicate.

Really nice hotel, great pool and nice rooms. Spacious as well, both the rooms and the lobby. Staff in the restaurant is not so good however. Spilled strawberry on my shirt and at first they didn’t want to clean it, and we argued over the fact there was no granola and fruit in the yoghurt we ordered for 100 pesos (!) which it should have according to the menu. Weird.

Looks nicer on the outside than it is in your room. Hot water didn't work and bugs were on the floor, the bed wasn't very comfortable. The food downstairs was fine although as an American I was pretty disappointed with the in house pizza. We won't stay here again
