Ramada by Wyndham Abu Dhabi Corniche

The best time to visit is from November to March, when daytime highs range from 24°C to 31°C and evenings are mild, making outdoor sightseeing comfortable. April and October are still pleasant but hotter, with highs around 33-35°C. From May through September, temperatures exceed 37°C, with August peaking at 41°C, so outdoor activities are best limited to early mornings or evenings. Rain is rare year-round, with only one rainy day per month in winter, so you can plan around clear skies. The cooler months also align with the Abu Dhabi Festival in spring, a well-known cultural event.

For a central stay, the Corniche area suits beach lovers and first-timers, with hotels like Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental and Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers. Al Maryah Island is a modern waterfront district with upscale dining and hotels like Four Seasons and Rosewood. Qaryat al Beri, near the Grand Mosque, offers a quieter, cultural setting with Shangri-la Hotel. City Center, around Al Bateen, is convenient for local life and access to the corniche.

Ferrari World Yas Island is a top pick for its record-breaking roller coasters. The Louvre Abu Dhabi stands out for its art and architecture. Warner Bros. World offers immersive rides and characters. Yas Waterworld is a fun water park.

You can take a full-day tour to Dubai, which covers its major sights and often includes the Burj Khalifa. Desert safaris are another popular option, with evening trips featuring a BBQ, camel ride, and entertainment. A private city tour of Abu Dhabi itself is also available, though that's not a day trip. For a day trip, Dubai and the desert are your main choices.

Plan 3 to 4 days. In 2 days you can cover the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan, and the Corniche, plus a day at Yas Island for Ferrari World or Warner Bros. World. Add a third day for the Heritage Village and Umm Al Emarat Park, or a desert safari. If you want a day trip to Dubai, add an extra day.
