Our time at Bansi Homestay in Agra was a stand-out highlight of our trip. Mr Burman went out of his way to make us feel welcome, adding a family touch and sense of genuine care for our comfort and enjoyment. We’d been communicating with him before our arrival and he made all the arrangements for our itinerary, including a very knowledgeable guide and reliable driver, together with day-to-day suggestions for local restaurants etc. The property itself is very well-located. The rooms are large, extremely well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The evening meal we requested on our first night, and breakfasts in the mornings were all freshly-prepared and delicious. In conclusion, we have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Bansi Homestay. Mr & Mrs Burman and their staff offer a fantastic level of hospitality, making this a home-from-home experience that will live long in the memory!

Bansi Home Stay Agra is definitely our favorite hotel in India. Very well located, quiet street, close to the Taj Mahal. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with a semi-private dining area attached. The shower is exceptional, with plenty of hot water. The included breakfast served every morning is generous, varied, and delicious. The owner and staff are warm, friendly, and attentive. I couldn’t recommend this homestay more!

I had a wonderful stay at Bansi Homestay in Agra. The service was outstanding from start to finish, making me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my visit. A special thank you to Durma and her colleague, whose kindness, warmth, and attention to every detail made my experience in Agra more easy and peaceful. They were always helpful, friendly, and eager to make sure I had everything we needed. The homestay itself is beautiful, very spacious, and incredibly relaxing. It offers a peaceful atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to unwind after exploring the city. I especially appreciated how quiet and comfortable it was. The location is also very good, providing easy access to Agra's main attractions while still offering a calm and pleasant environment. I highly recommend Bansi Homestay to anyone visiting Agra. It was an excellent experience, and I would be happy to stay there again.

Bansi Home Stay was the most comfortable accommodation during our six-week trip to India. It's located on a quiet side street, about a 20-minute walk from the Taj Mahal. There was a fantastic, hot shower with plenty of water, lots of closet space, and everything worked perfectly, which isn't always the case in India. The room was very spacious and modernly furnished. The private breakfast served in the living area was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, offering many great suggestions.

If you are looking for a lovely place to stay in Agra look no further. Mr Burman has a lovely home and makes guests feel very welcome. The rooms are large and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and freshly cooked. All the staff are so helpful but it is Mr and Mrs Burman who make this place so special - just such nice people. The location is ideal for good restaurants and only a short tuk-tuk to the Taj. I have stayed twice now and hope to return soon. This will always be my first choice to stay in Agra.

This place is an absolute gem. It is owned and run by Mr D.K. Burman (a former Director of tourism for the region) and his wife (a former professor and doctorate in economics) and they clearly take great pride in ensuring that their guests are given a generous welcome, and happy and full experience in Agra. They take great care in presenting the beautiful, big and clean rooms (amazing showers!), and their kitchen provides a delicious, filling breakfast every morning. Thank you, we will tell all our friends in Australia that this is THE place to stay in Agra.

Great location near the railway station and the Taj Mahal; terrific, home-cooked breakfast; a very large, spotless room; and genuinely helpful staff. We were underprepared for sightseeing in Agra and Fatehpur Sikri, but our host at Bansi Home Stay quickly sorted us out and provided invaluable advice and help, without which our stay in Agra would have been a series of missteps and lost opportunities.
