Google· a year agoI’m so sorry I have to do this but i do. So I came from the states to stay here and I was excited to go to the beach! I booked a 3 bedroom and 2 bath luxury apartment. The view is awesome! And the rooms are nice But here’s why I rated it a one star. First there bugs everywhere on the table floor and couch! Little tiny ant like things that’s gross! And in the bathroom it looks like they didn’t clean anything (so unsanitary!!)!!! And the couch 🤮🤮 . The leather couches have mold on the and they’re damp and moist! It’s actually nasty 🤢! I thought I was staying at a luxury apartment! If I could give -5 stars I would. Sorry but it has to be done!

Google· a year agoWe were deeply disappointed with our stay at the Mediterranean Resort in Airlie Beach. We travelled all the way from the Philippines, looking forward to a relaxing holiday, but our experience was severely impacted by several issues. First and foremost, the accommodation had a serious pest problem, particularly with ants, which made our stay uncomfortable. As shown in the attached photo, the surrounding bushes behind the unit were overgrown and poorly maintained, contributing to the pest issue. Additionally, parking was a major inconvenience. The designated space was extremely tight for our SUV, making it difficult to maneuver safely. The resort is also located on a steep hill, which added to the difficulty and overall discomfort. Unfortunately, these issues significantly affected what was supposed to be a memorable vacation. We hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve the quality of service for future guests.

Tripadvisor· 4 years agoThis small, well-designed property surprised us in all the right ways. From the outside it looks a bit older and it's on a steep slope, but once you're settled in we found it absolutely perfect in every way. The apartment was very well laid out for a family of five. It just worked. The views are SPECTACULAR. Absolutely incredible. It's a short walk into town (the hill is very steep but if you take it slowly it's fine). There was easy parking on-site (though you have to lug your bags up a couple of flights of stairs). The two pools were deep, clean and shared the same views. We loved this place for our four nights here.

Tripadvisor· 4 years agoOur One Bedroom Apartment was booked through a tour with Reef & Beyond via Trip-A-Deal, for just under a week. It seemed like that the Resort, (although, wouldn’t call it a Resort,) supplied what was booked and paid for by Reef & Beyond - a one bedroom apartment - by separating a larger apartment down the middle. It was odd that there were 3 locked internal doors off the hallway. The bed in the bedroom was a small double, only, and rather uncomfortable, certainly not of Resort style! The whole apartment was very dated, and the small rise between the bedroom and the ensuite and the hallway and the laundry was a trip hazard! The view from the balcony, which is not very large, was the excellent thing about the apartment, and apparently people would die to have this room. This couple felt they were going to die or, at least, about to have a heart attack! There aren’t any lifts at this place, so, as our apartment was one of the higher ones, heavy luggage had to be dragged up the very steep driveway from the street, where the airport shuttle had to drop off their passengers. From the driveway, a set of 2 to 3 flights of narrow steps had to be conquered, again, with heavy luggage, before we got to the entry door to the apartment. Although, we didn’t use the pools during our stay, we did note that one was closed for maintenance. The free Wi-Fi was not up to standard which meant our mobile phones had to be used for a decent service. Although, the problem with the Wi-Fi was being attended to, it never really improved during our stay! If you have any type of mobility problems, find other accommodation. The resort is built on a hill up very, very steep hills, above the main road of Airlie Beach. These hills would take the breath away of even the very fittest of people! Also, being so high, the noise from down the hill, in Airlie, travels up to the rooms on still nights! The caretaker Caz was very friendly and very helpful. She often gave us good advice about some of the best places eat, things to see and ways of getting transportation up the hill, when you don’t have your own vehicle! Wouldn't look to staying here again, as there's other nice places, in which to stay, in Airlie Beach!

Google· 2 years agoGreat location, and view from the balcony and living room was absolutely stunning. As this is located on a hill and have to walk steep uphill and once arrived all steps and no lifts to the unit, I would suggest anyone who has mobility issues, think twice before making reservation here. View was scenic but property had many issues during our stay. Ensuite sliding door was stuck and was unable to close while using bathroom. After a shower whole bathroom floor got flooded as shower cubicle wasnt sealed or may be it was too old. Cloths dryer wasnt functioning and drying cloths were a major issue for us. Dish washer was semi functional, no drying. I suggest whoever looks after the property to check all appliances and functionality before rent it out.

Tripadvisor· 5 years agoCaz was lovely, very friendly and the apartment had great views. Whilst the bedroom and ensuite had been updated, the kitchen/living room need updating compared to photos on the website. The kitchen was functional and well laid out but dated. The quite badly chipped whitewear let it down as ants ran through gaps into the pantry and on bench tops. The pool was great but the car park was a bit challenging. Cons: the little steps between bedroom and ensuite and into laundry caught our toes a couple of times. Might not be so good for less mobile people. The car parks were challenging not just for us but for lots others by the sound of tyres. And what was that continual hum? Another guest asked us if we could hear it as they were trying to figure out what it was. Was it a pump? But it ran all night and was very noticeable. Sadly the biggest con was how noise travelled between floors. Caz was extremely helpful with a noisy group in the apartment above us. It’s understandable that kids are excited but constant running, scraping of furniture being dragged around, and yelling, on top of arguing adults wasn’t great because of how the sound travelled. Despite Caz speaking to them, the same group continued actively arguing with raised voices out on their deck until 0230 in the morning then used the pools at 0230. We didn’t want to know their problems but we could not avoid hearing it so we didn’t get sleep. Didn’t contact management as felt admonished for doing so earlier. Recommend top floor apartments only unless happy to hear everyone’s issues.

Tripadvisor· 7 years agoThis resort is high on a very steep hill, located 200m from the main street of Airlie. We were a party of four adults staying in a two bed and two bath room. View is great but balcony very small. Room is starting to tire and in need of a refresh. Walls and fixtures damaged. Kitchen very basic. Unit had washing machine and dryer. On site parking a nightmare. Very narrow and difficult to navigate. Infinity pool and BBQ area are in the complex. Main bedroom and lounge air conditioned. WIFI is not available.
