Our stay at Trullidea in Alberobello was simply outstanding! The trullo was beautiful, authentic, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort we could possibly need. It perfectly combined traditional charm with modern convenience, making our stay truly unforgettable. Traveling with our two dogs, we especially appreciated how incredibly pet-friendly the hotel is. It made us and our furry family members feel genuinely welcome from the very first moment. The Italian breakfast offered a wonderful selection of delicious local specialties, and the attention to cleanliness throughout our stay was exceptional. A very special thank you to Luca, Margo, and the entire Trullidea team. Your hospitality was truly one of a kind. Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel at home and turned our vacation into an unforgettable experience.

The town of Alberobello is a sheer delight but go out of season as it is swamped with coaches of tourist by day especially on a Sunday. |We were travelling as two couples and our accommodation was not close to each other. One couple had a trulli a good 5 min walk from us and when we arrived there was no one there to help us find each location. The taxi dropped us and sent us to the street where the reception is but they shut up sending us texts with photos of what our front doors looked like and the street names but we struggled as one street led into another and after a long day traveling we were tired and had to haul our suitcases back and forth trying to find where we would be staying. The receptionist was right when they told us the taxi would drop us half way between the two accommodations but we were totally disorientated and without any other information we were lost. Communication before departing was great and very helpful. They booked us a good taxi and Alberobello is delightful. Dropped our bags and then went to find an evening meal, plenty of places to eat and live entertainment on the streets. It was beautiful, a warm night with lots of children out with their families enjoying the evening. You felt like you were part of an Italian celebration and I suppose we were. A comfortable night's sleep and we were off.

It was lovely to stay in Trulli in a quiet street, however we had paid a fairly big supplement to our tour company so I was expecting something a bit more luxurious than what we got. Some of the furnishings were very basic. The bathroom was very modern and nice and the standard of cleaning was excellent. The bed was comfortable.|What let it down was breakfast taken in a nearby cafe. Having paid £300-£400 for a room for two nights I would expect something more than a hostel breakfast….we got one small cappuccino, the end of a baguette with some cheese and meat and a croissant with no butter/jams. It felt as though breakfast was being provided as cheaply as possible. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room…some milk would have been nice too.

Not what I was expecting, the Trullie we were given was dated, tired and worn. The bathroom was in major need of a refit. The soft furnishings are horrid, the bedcovers are full of threads and pulls and look like a relic from 50's. The bedside table came away in my hand as it is not screwed to the brackets. The two armchairs are noticeably worn. The plug is missing from the bathroom sink, no soap supplied so nothing to wash your hands with. Lots of marks on walls. The Trullie we occupied is located at top of very steep hill, within a construction zone and when we asked, we were told they start working about 7am. Very noisy area (you can hear people talking outside). I dont have anything good to say, its daggy and awful. Big disappointment, not what I was expecting, not like the photos on the website. Definitely would not recommend.

Trullidea is wonderful: the room is clean, well equipped and spacious. Breakfast provided is at Pane e Mozza which serves delicious croissant, coffee and bread. Above all, the staff was amazing and beyond professional. it was raining and the stone pavements are slippery so we asked for our luggage to be picked up at the trullo. As the car was too large to reach the trullo the staff kindly helped to move the luggage. This level of service and support was unexpected and we are beyond appreciative! She also very kindly communicated with the driver to arrange our change of plans, the service is what makes Trullidea an amazing place to stay in Alberobello.

My husband and I visited Alberobello the very first few days of July and had the loveliest time staying with Trullidea for 3 nights. We booked room “TRISTIDDE 41” which featured a private outdoor space to relax in and could not have been happier. Trullidea has a bunch of “spread out” trulli so it is not a typical hotel/accommodation with a main reception and all rooms in one “building” This is very clear on the website, but thought I should emphasize this anyhow. This makes for a very unique, intimate experience — as if you are living in the town! The location of this accommodation is prime since the reception office is located on one of the main streets within the Rione Monti district and so are their Trulli. Our trullo was located in a quieter part of the town (as described on the website) and this was wonderful because we wanted to be close to everything but prefer quiet & private accommodation. This allowed us to get the best of both! Just walk one minute and you’re in all the action! The trullo itself was very comfortable with different places to sit and relax and we appreciated that breakfast could be sent directly to the room every morning. No issues with staying cool even in the heat of the summer since the architecture of a trullo makes it cool inside by default but the AC functioned perfectly as well. Staff were very kind and we were given great restaurant recommendations and even a great recommendation for a local tour guide. Most people only take a day trip to Alberobello but you only get to “trulli” experience this place by staying at least an extra day and do not pass the opportunity to stay in a trullo like this one!

it was Trulli(magnificent)idea to choose stay at the Trullidea! First of all: the location is great - at the very center of the Alberobello Trulli vilagge, but a bit aside which wakes it even more comfortable. The house has got everything you need: little kitchen, with coffeemaker and other facilities, fine bathroom, large bed, and a sitting part. It is arranged with a smooth Italian touchand spotless clean.The staff from Trullidea work perfect as well. They will tell you everything what you need to know about the village and all the places worth visit. Breakfast was served in a nearby caffe and consisted of buffalla cheese, prosciuto, pan and coffee - everything superfresh and supertasty!I recommend Trulliidea and their lovely houses for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Alberobello!

Our 4th year staying at Trullidea and we still absolutely love it.|The staff are so helpful and friendly and communicated quickly and efficiently both before and during our stay.|The room was our 4th different room and just as spectacular as all of the others we've stayed in --truly beautiful decor and layout with comfortable beds and efficient showers, fridge, tea and coffee maker. Breakfast delivered to the room was the icin g on the cake!|We look forward to returning next year and would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel.
