Google· 5 months agoThe hotel is in a much slower part the city. If you want to be in the hustle and bustle not the place. The rooms are small which is to be expected, European style. Worth the extra cost to get on the fourth floor, air conditioning for a very rare hot day. The staff is so sweet, very responsive and helpful. Cute place, small more boutique style.

Google· 6 months agoIt was okay but overpriced. Gets a bit loud at night due to partiers in the street but if you're high up enough, it's bearable. Rooms are very stripped down and minimal but functional (not even a kettle or cups provided). 24/7 help desk was a lifesaver and you're about 15-20 minutes by foot/tram from most must-see sights in Amsterdam, right above a supermarket and near plenty of shops/restaurants.

Google· a year agoWhat a wonderful stay. Great location! Quick walk to phenomenal coffee and delicious Michelin star food. A lively part of town with kind locals. Room was very clean and they even came in to tidy it up while we were out. Beautiful views from our room. I spent a lot of time gazing out the window. The cherry on top was the wonderful staff. From check in to check out everyone was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. Enjoyed the Nespresso machine (which they restocked while I was there which was so nice). They also had outlet converters near the bed which I thought was very thoughtful since we only brought one. They have a space up front that is a cafe with baked goods, games, seating, etc. Overall, everything was fantastic here and such a great value. Highly recommend!

Google· a year agoStayed here for 3 nights in September. The room was a little bigger than I expected, and I didn't feel cramped at all. The bathroom fan never shut off, but it seemed like it was necessary to limit the humidity in the room. I also could not hear it when the bathroom door was closed. The location was fantastic. There are all types of restaurants nearby, as well as a few bars and coffee shops. It also doesn't feel touristy at all. There are a couple tram lines a couple blocks away, and the touristy areas of Amsterdam are about a 30 minute walk. Staff was friendly and helpful. I have only two gripes, and they're related to the bathroom. The towels leave a LOT to be desired. They were similar to the types I would get in my high school locker room (ie thin and rough on the skin). The other one is there is no barrier in the shower to keep the water there. A bit annoying, but it is what it is. Overall Hotel Heye 130 probably won't blow you away, but it is quite pleasant and in a fantastic spot. I definitely would consider staying here again.

Trip.com· 3 years agoQuit small but very exquisite in the room, all in one place but the lift was out of service, very painful to talk luggages up stairs. Very helpful staff and clean space! Will come back again

Google· a year agoBed bugs bed bugs bed bugs Location is good, rooms are small, bathroom is tiny and water gets all over the floor when you shower. Staff is nice enough but overall it’s kinda expensive for what you get -especially for bed bugs. I only found a few other reviews from a long time ago mentioning bed bugs, stay elsewhere if you can.

Tripadvisor· 5 months agothis has been my 4th stay here because it's in a good location on a really vibrant street but most importantly it's spotlessly clean with really nice staff especially Veronica who made my day !! hopefully will return xx

Google· a year agoI stayed here through Airbnb but felt it was a good all around experience so I thought a good Google review was in order. I came to Amsterdam thinking I was only going to spend two nights, three days there. I decided at the last minute on the day I was supposed to leave to stay an extra two days. Easter weekend I was surprised to find anywhere with a vacancy. When I arrived I noticed the hotel is connected to a café. I mistakenly went through the café even though there is a separate door for reception. If the door isn’t open there’s a little white buzzer next to the door. Checked in without issue, and found the front desk staff to be quite personable and took some time to converse with me. Quite appreciated. The room was “small” but perfect for 1 or 2 people (couple) the bathrooms are modern and clean, the bed was clean and fairly comfortable. I enjoyed the stay immensely. I’d book again and I highly recommend. Also, as an aside, there are plenty of good restaurants/cafés/pubs nearby. Vondelpark is also very near and it wonderful to spend a sunny afternoon there. Not too far from Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, etc. as well.
