We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bank Hotel Amsterdam and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting this wonderful city. From the friendly and attentive staff to the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel, our experience has been excellent throughout. The location is also a real bonus, making it a wonderful base for exploring Amsterdam. We felt that the hotel offered very good value for money, and the breakfast experience added to our overall enjoyment of our stay. What really made our experience special, however, was the personal service we received. We would particularly like to acknowledge Dani who deserves a special mention. Dani is a natural communicator, funny and warm, her kindness, helpfulness and the personal attention that she gave us made a lasting impression and helped make our stay so enjoyable. Along with Dani, we thought that Manuela was excellent as well, both ladies are great at what they do and should be commended. It is often the people who make the biggest difference when travelling, and these two ladies are a real credit to the hotel. Their contribution made us feel that we were genuinely valued as guests. Thank you to the entire team at Bank Hotel Amsterdam for making our stay such a positive experience. We leave with wonderful memories and would happily return. A hotel we would wholeheartedly recommend!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about The Bank Hotel and the people who work there. Before we even arrived and were communicating primarily via email about our stay - everyone who spoke to us was incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely kind. They went out of their way to help us at every turn and made us feel so well taken care of throughout our stay. We were traveling during a pretty emotional and uncertain time in our lives, and the kindness the staff showed us meant more than they probably realized. Konstantinos and Simon in particular went completely above and beyond for us, making sure the rest of the team knew our situation and that we had everything we needed. It never felt like they were just doing their jobs - they genuinely cared, and we’ll always remember that. The hotel itself was great, too. The location is fantastic and very central, which made it easy to walk around and explore Amsterdam. Our room was really nice, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom and shower felt clean and modern. It was a great place to come back to after long days exploring the city. The only small note we’d make for future travelers is that the room did get a little warm for us at night. We visited in mid-September, and coming from the U.S., we’re used to sleeping in a pretty cold room with A/C. We know this is totally normal in Europe and didn’t take away from our stay at all! But if you’re like us and prefer a cooler room while you sleep, we’d recommend packing a small travel fan. We’ll definitely be bringing one on our next trip to Europe! Overall, we had such a wonderful experience here. The location, comfortable rooms, and amenities were all great, but the people are what really set The Bank Hotel apart. We’re incredibly grateful for how kind everyone was to us, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I'm giving 4 stars but I was debating between 3 and 4 stars. The hospitality is fantastic!! Front desk is very helpful and kind and offered directions and recommendations to restaurants. They also upgraded us to a junior suite without us requesting it. Loved the staff! However, when we got to the room, there was a big stain in the chair. We wondered why it hadn't been removed. The room was very worn. It needs a paint job and some new furniture. There were chips in the end tables and the furniture looked old. The bathroom was updated so why not the rest of the room? If they made these changes, it would absolutely be 5 stars. Breakfast was included and was fine though very basic.

eally liked the natural light and view from my room (either 301 or 302), location in neighborhood, nice size room. Other good things: there is a kitty host, front desk staff was nice and helpful. Room: the windows in my room open to let in air, coffee machine was great, desk and extra chair were useful for working. Bed was huge and comfortable. Bathroom was a simple galley with good size shower. Hooks and shelves made it very functional. Location: the restaurant adjacent has a nice bar and offers a discount. The location is a bit out of the central tourist area (only a few blocks) which I prefer. Restaurants and clothing shops nearby were fun to explore. Less than 10 minute walk with luggage to the central train station. There is no automobile traffic (noise) on the road directly in front of the hotel. Elevator or stairs available to access room.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Bank Hotel last weekend. We were given the penthouse—what a lovely room with a fantastic view of Amsterdam. I’ve never had such a beautiful view in the city before. The beds were incredibly comfortable! It was a shame we only stayed for one night; otherwise, we would have had plenty of time to enjoy a relaxing soak in the artistic bathtub overlooking the city. The manager and staff were very welcoming. The setting is lovely, and the location is excellent—central yet quiet. A delicious breakfast, too. All in all, it was a perfect experience and comes highly recommended. A ten out of ten!

An unexpected stay at The Bank Hotel was the perfect palette cleanser to the hotel my partner & I had originally booked. Reception staff were more than obliging. Lady the resident and mascot cat is a dote. Room was spotlessly clean, bed was large and comfortable. A perfect stay within minutes walking distance from the Centraal Station and the centre of Amsterdam. Would happily recommend to anyone

We came in looking for a room since our other hotel didn’t work out. The staff were very nice and helpful with showing us a room and getting us taken care of. The hotel is clean, well maintained and has an elevator! We will stay here again in the future.
