Good hotel with free refreshments. There's only 1 lift that can get quite busy. I wasn't able to get the air con below 25 degrees, so it was hard to fall asleep. The bedsheet barely fit the bed. Someone walked into my room while my bf was in there. He doesn't know if she was claiming to be a cleaner or to fix something. I also saw her walking into another room. If she was staff, she should've waited before letting herself in. If not, then I'm concerned about safety. There is a safe in the room. Putting the above aside, the room itself was rather spacious, with a small table and 2 chairs. The area was clean. Breakfast was ok. Self service boiled eggs, bread, meats, yogurts, fruits, cereal, pastries. Coffee was ok. There was a very easy to use juicer.

Comfortable accommodation in a quiet area, with a great location — just a 10-minute walk to the city centre and the train station. We had a room with a balcony, which let us sleep with the window open.

Sole and Castiel at reception are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is with great value, around 10mins walk from Annecy station and 17-20mins walk from the lake. My room has a good view from window.

My husband and I stayed at Ibis Styles Annecy Gare Centre last night with our dog and we had a mixed experience. Positives: Check-in was very easy and the staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming. Breakfast was perfectly adequate to start the day. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The location is convenient, just a 10 minute walk to the old town center, with lots of bar and restaurants to choose between. There is something for everyone. We particularly appreciated having a room with a small balcony. The hotel is close to the river, which was ideal for walking our dog. The room had useful touches such as a proper cupboard with a safe and extra pillows, unlike other Styles hotels we’ve stayed in. Negatives: Unfortunately, cleanliness was below expectations, with mould on the shower ceiling and broken fittings (a missing support bar on the shower screen and a broken towel rail). The outside of the building looks quite rundown, which doesn’t give the best first impression. Parking is also very limited, and you really need to book a space in advance to avoid disappointment. Overall, while we enjoyed Annecy itself and will definitely return to an Accor hotel, sadly we would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Annecy Ibis Styles Gare. As the name suggests it is a comfortable ten minute walk from the train station, or a similar walk alongside the beautiful river to the old town. It’s located in a tree lined square away from any busy roads. The room was simple but very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast included lots of quality local produce and it was possible to have a very tasty, healthy and filling start to the day. Last but by no means least, the staff were very friendly and hard-working doing everything possible for the hotel guests. Tres bien et merci les gens d’Ibis Annecy!

I was disappointed with my experience. I booked a room one year in advance and, due to a system error, the reservation was automatically registered for one person only, even though it was always my intention to stay with another guest. When I arrived at the hotel, I was unexpectedly charged an additional fee for the second breakfast, with no flexibility shown. It is also worth noting that, despite having an account, my reservation disappeared from my customer area without explanation, making it impossible to verify the number of guests beforehand. I even had to send an email to confirm whether the booking had been correctly made. It was an unpleasant situation, and not something I expect from a chain like Accor. I hope these procedures are reviewed to prevent other customers from experiencing the same issue.
