Lovely hotel with all the amenities and fascilities to help you relax and enjoy your holiday. Breakfast is delicious with a large variety of fresh goods. Room is large and spacious, great walk-in shower. Only two downs sides: we were told that all the rooms have a combined twin bed and there aren't rooms with a double bed (besides the suite). The location is 30 minutes walk to city center, for us it was a way to enjoy the lake. Price is a bit high.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rivage Hotel & Spa Annecy and honestly struggled to find fault with anything. The location is fantastic — peaceful and scenic by the lake, while still being an easy walk or cycle into Annecy town. The hotel itself feels modern, calm and luxurious without being pretentious. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with stunning views and thoughtful details throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the whole hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere. The spa area was one of the highlights of our stay. Everything was clean, well maintained and genuinely relaxing after long active days exploring the area. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and very high quality food. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly, professional and welcoming, and every interaction felt easy and genuine. We travelled with bikes and found the hotel ideal for an active holiday around Lake Annecy and the mountains. Overall, it felt like one of those rare hotels where everything just works perfectly. We would happily return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Annecy.

I stayed at the Rivage Hôtel & Spa Annecy during the MIFA Animation Festival, and it was an absolute haven. France was experiencing an unbearable heatwave at the time, but the hotel’s excellent cooling system and comfortable, cozy rooms made it the perfect escape from the scorching weather. Here is why I would highly vouch for this hotel: Location: It is within easy walking distance of the MIFA venue, which is incredibly convenient when you are rushing between screenings and events. The View: Waking up to such a lovely, picturesque view of Lake Annecy was an absolute highlight of my mornings. The Service: Coming from someone used to the exceptionally high standards of hospitality in India and Southeast Asia, I was thoroughly impressed. The staff across the board—from the front desk reception to the restaurant team and room service—were superb, attentive, and welcoming. The hotel is clean, stylish, cool, and incredibly comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again for future festivals!

We stayed here for the first few nights after our wedding and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, with a clean, modern design, stunning lake views, and a relaxing atmosphere throughout. We stayed in the penthouse, which was an incredible space with plenty of room to enjoy the view and unwind. The spa was excellent, the restaurant was very good, and the entire property felt thoughtfully designed and well maintained. The location right on the lake is hard to beat, and waking up to those views each morning was a highlight of our stay. A lovely hotel and one we would happily recommend to anyone visiting Annecy.

Emilie was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive during our recent stay in Annecy. She truly made our experience memorable and stood out among all the staff members. Although our stay got off to an unpleasant start at check in, Emilie's kindness and professionalism completely turned things around. As a thoughtful gesture, she even gifted my wife two books, which was greatly appreciated and made our visit even more special. Emilie, your dedication to guest experience is exceptional, and the hotel is fortunate to have someone like you on the team. Unfortunately, our experience with the rest of the reception staff was quite different. We found them to be rather transactional and not particularly warm or proactive. There was a very interesting annual event taking place at the hotel during our stay, but nobody mentioned it to us. We only learned about it after asking. Small touches such as sharing information about hotel activities, offering recommendations, or simply creating a welcoming atmosphere seemed to be missing. These are basics in hospitality. That said, Emilie's outstanding hospitality was a highlight of our visit and left a lasting positive impression.

Best hotel room I have stayed in, the design was on point. The lighting electric shutters was a delight the materials used was excellent. I have stayed in opulence in Waldorf Astoria,Four Seasons Canary Wharf, Excelsior Azerbaijan and others, but Rivage had got it right without the opulence. Staff were friendly but need to be offering trips. The bar area not very cosy as the air con was too high and they need to offer interesting snacks and nibbles to have with coffee and drinks. The frontage of the hotel needs a spruce up. Overall staff friendly and professional, will definitely return.
