The staff at hotel la galeria was so friendly and accommodating to my travel partner and I’s flight arrival time and back. Their rooms were very clean and had a great bathroom. Breakfast was also very yummy and the courtyard is so cute! would recommend if you’re a girl staying in antigua!

We had booked four rooms in total. The rooms are fairly small but sufficient. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good, again with lovely staff. The hotel is in a quiet location, an easy walk to anything in Antigua.

We loved staying at Hotel La Galeria! It's in a great location a short walk from the centre of Antigua with great restaurants nearby. The hotel team are lovely and helpful, and they serve a very tasty Guatemalan breakfast to start the day.

I stayed here twice, both times in different ground-floor rooms, and really enjoyed it. The rooms were big, clean, and comfortable, and the showers were hot and powerful (just needed a minute to warm up). The staff were amazing - super friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast ladies even customised my order, and the receptionist drew me a map to the bank and stored my bag between stays. The ground-floor rooms I stayed in didn’t have windows to the outside, only to the courtyard, but it didn’t bother me, in fact there was a storm when I was there so it was probably quieter in those rooms. The location’s perfect: everything’s walkable, restaurants and bars nearby and a supermarket right across the street.

Loved Hotel La Galeria! This hotel is super central making all of the major sites in Antigua between a 5-20 minute walk from the hotel. The staff are kind, attentive and there is always someone helpful at the front desk. It feels super safe as well, as the door to the hotel is always locked and you must buzz to be let in by the receptionist. The rooms are beautiful, with windows overlooking the courtyard area. The courtyard is beautiful with lots of plants and a few tables to sit at. The beds are nice and firm and a large fan is provided to keep you cool. The room was very clean, with provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash, as well as a water carafe that was refilled daily (there is also purified water available at all times downstairs). Breakfast was great and served fast! The ladies serving breakfast were very kind and attentive as well. Everybody working here was super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place. Not in the center but this could be advantage. Many resturants, laundry, Gym in 5 min walk. 1 min there is a new shop with all you need (no food) with good prices. Note that the hotel is located on a streat with many buses but the roms are on the back and you dont hear them.

Nice small hotel, very clean and cozy, welcoming staff, good location...But our room was noisy due to the bus stop in front of it.
