We enjoyed our stay at the Athens Tiare Hotel and found it to be a comfortable, modern, and conveniently located base for exploring Athens. We booked the large Corner Suite Fountain View, which featured a comfortable king bed and views overlooking historic Omonia Square. The room was modern, spacious, and consistently kept clean. We especially appreciated the excellent multi-jet shower after long days of sightseeing. The hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage while we waited to check in, delivered our bags to the room, and held them again after checkout until it was time to leave for our flight. This made both our arrival and departure much easier. The dining was another highlight. Breakfast at Artensis Restaurant offered a great start to each day, and we had an excellent dinner at D’Omo Restaurant, which we highly recommend. The hotel’s central location provides easy access to the Athens Metro and makes traveling around the city very convenient. This includes the hop-on, hop-off tour bus stop in the Square. There were two minor shortcomings. Housekeeping did not replenish our washcloths after the first night, and the door to our balcony would not open, which was disappointing given that we had booked a fountain-view suite. These issues did not significantly detract from an otherwise enjoyable stay, but they prevented it from being a five-star experience. Overall, the Athens Tiare Hotel delivered modern accommodations, helpful service, excellent dining, and a convenient central location. We would consider staying here again.

The general stay was good , the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing was the rooms that the rooms were not so clean for a 4 star hotel.

During our stay in Athens, we had dinner twice at the restaurant in Athens Tiare Hotel, overlooking the Platia Omonias fountain. Although we were not guests at the hotel, the receptionist warmly assured us it was no problem to dine at their restaurant on the second or third floor. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly! The combination of tasty meals, reasonable prices, and the beautiful view of the illuminated Platia Omonias fountain created a memorable and enjoyable atmosphere.

Amazing hotel with exceptional staff, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you so much for the complimentary room upgrade; it was a wonderful surprise and truly appreciated. The room was excellent, and the entire team made me feel well taken care of throughout my stay. I also really enjoyed the restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, especially while watching the World Cup, making it a fun and memorable experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens!! 🇬🇷

Do yourself a favor and do a Google Street View of this property before booking. The photos shared by the property are VERY flattering. The front door is flanked by plastic dumpsters, there is a XXX shop down the street...you're basically half a block away from Athens' version of the SF Tenderloin. The hotel staff literally told us not to walk north if we exited the hotel. Rooms were big, but ours was dusty, towels had stains, there were stains on the upholstery, and there were two flies that finally died on day 3. Walls are paper thin...when your neighbor opens their door, you'll swear they are entering your room. We also put the do not disturb sign out for our day of sight seeing to find out that the housekeeping staff had actually come in and moved piles of clothes that we had painstakingly divided and organized. Plus side - water pressure/shower was good. Breakfast staff was friendly. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Stay in Plaka or Monastiraki for a much nicer experience. PS - I've been all over Europe and the US and can appreciate an area that is less than polished. This was really bad.

the hotel my itself was very beautiful and clean. the doormen and bartenders were very friendly and it was a quality hotel given the downtown location. but unfortunately i had two items go missing from my luggage on two separate days and when i complained to the staff, they said they’d look into it and update me. later they told my tour guide that they had a manager talk to me, even though no one had talked to me. when i corrected that they said they would try to send the manager again, once again i heard nothing back. after i had already checked out the hotel, that’s then the tour guide texted me that the hotel said “none of the housekeepers saw anything” and that i couldn’t prove anything was taken. for the looks of the hotel, it’s terrible that their service did not match.

Bad location, our tour guide on day 1 said to be careful walking around here at night. Streets close by smell like unhoused are making them an outside toilet |Rooms - our travel agent pre paid months ago- when we get there they take us to adjoining rooms with 4 beds and a pull out sofa for our family of 5. The next morning they’re like hey you have another room we forgot to tell you here is the key- we say ok we will be reimbursed for the room we didn’t use last night right? They say no but we will give you a voucher to a restaurant. We thought it was for the hotel restaurant and we were going to be ok with that but it was actually for some random restaurant the we had to Uber to we said no can we just get our $ back. They refused. We even got out travel agent involved and they said they wouldn’t refund the room. A room we did not use the 1st night. |Also one we did get our additional room we had to move our 4 times- immediately smelled of cigarette smoke called to tell front desk and they had the maid come and spray something in the room. The next day I told them again, smells like someone is smoking and it is getting into room- they moved our room to a room with a single bed, not 2 beds as needed, moved a 3rd time, again room smells of cigarettes, moved a 4th time. Finally no smoke and proper # of beds |Still no refund as writing this. Shady hotel staff |Shady area don’t stay

Went to Athens for 5 nights to see Acropolis and the museum with my son and really had a trip of a lifetime was very hot so recommend to go very early but was August ! te shopping and restaurant's were plenty and all really cool atmosphere everything is open so late and felt safe to walk around monistaraki area would love to return in the cooler months and see more hotel was very clean and staff friendly so would stay again great base
